The bigger problem is getting costs under control. |

Also target has the new 3 packs and a $10 off $50 toy coupon. If you are lucky you could get the new gamerverse sets all for $50. Just saw the trailer for the Spider-Verse movie, not sure what looks worse the toys or the movie |
mark whalberg CAN act. watch the fighter and the departed.

In before I give up and pay almost double the price of new Gamerverse 2packs because of shipping to Czech Republic, if anyone would be so nice and got those three 2packs extra to ship loose, I would be much obliged. (So far my cheapest option is BBTS 89USD + VAT + duty tax...)

Anyone know what’s up next after these gamerverse figures? This might be the end of the line for a while... |

the look-alike replacement, yes. that guy can act for sure. |
Didn't somebody mention that Chun-Li is part of the next wave for Gamerverse? Or was I deluded?
|
First I've ever heard of that but it'd be awesome news if it's true.

Depends on how bumblebee does overall, but as of right now it's a prequel to the others, and they aren't rebooting yet. But the tone and direction is changing as well as how the humor is handled. A reboot is coming later potentially, but for now, timing is too soon for it and if Bumblebee does as well as it looks like it will, they want to continue on his character arc story. There's a character arc that was slightly discussed as a means to potentially wrap up the films in a fitting way, and then prep for the full reset going into the 50th, so they can coincide anniversary movies to dive into the HCU in a more cohesive way. So right now at least. There's Bumblebee this december, then the animated movie later. Potentially one or two more after TLK movies, and maybe a Bumblebee sequel. Those last 3 are all pending how well Bumblebee does. As of right now, only the animated film is guaranteed. A full reboot was an option though, but that depends on what the stinger end credits scene is and whether it was decided to use it or not and how. For now though, they want to treat it like Star Wars, including how the aesthetic changes similarly to how the aesthetic changed in star wars depending on what point it takes place in the war. There's a lot of side material that Bay was asked to leave aside for others to pick up, same as there are other little things getting used thanks to random changes that were on the fly. Like how Wheeljack was changed to Que instead, so now proper wheeljack can be used as a cameo. The "reboot" talk got taken out of context. It was meant as a 'tonal reboot'. But there is want to later do the films closer to the MTMTE/War Dawn type story too. But first while the material is available, it's better to make use of plot threads left unresolved that were strewn about in the movies for stronger character focus and diving into aspects of cybertronians themselves as an alien race and their "humanity" and how that contrasts to humans. But it all really depends on how audiences respond to a new director and Christina Hodson's break-out script. So right now it's a prequel, and there might be an added extra twist in the stinger end credit scene, might not be, but there are discussions floating around about what the 'after TLK' movie will be with how the geo-political landscape has shifted in that world, as well as the room for stories in the 20 year build up to TF2007. Also Cade may be written out since his character story is wrapped. So we won't have him as the lead anymore in the films either. Epps and Lennox might be staying though. But also because of how positive the response to the cybertron scenes were, there is talk of exploring that in an animated form too to help prep for the 50th reset in a slow build way. But all of that is discussions. Nothing is set in stone until a script is written and shooting for the next installment starts. So anything can change at any time. |
We're bit off-topic but we got time for it :)
Are Transformers (Cybertronians) evolved "naturally" or are they an AI offspring from a carbon-based alien race on that planet that's long since been extinct? Makes most sense to me they are the result of a singularity event. Sort of Cybertron's version of Skynet. |
