Thanks!

Agreed about faceoff. That hulk is still the best. I do think Diamond Select has some great Hulk's, that may fit into legends if fudged; just missing that definitive one. I would love to see them attempt a more FaceOff Type Hulk.

I think many here view the FaceOff Hulk as a Lou Ferrigno inspired Hulk. In essence, if Hulk was real he would be proportional to the Faceoff Hulk.

Many such as myself, originally got into comics from the TV shows. I grew up where in syndication, we would see Adam West's Batman and the Ferrigno/Bixby Hulk/Banner as our definitive versions of those characters.

Still holding out for THIS Hulk with swappable hands (closed and open). Lol. Need one that can do all the iconic Hulk poses like the Thunderclap and such

Don't get me wrong I grew up in the 70s so it was West's Batman, Ferrigno's Hulk, Reeve's Superman, Carter's Wonder Woman, Reb Brown's Captain America, and that God awful Spiderman live action. And I LOVE them all just like I love the MCU but for me it's always been the comics that win out.

3233rafael 12-28-2017 11:20 AM

The one time I saw Lou Ferrigno at the airport, I told him...Lou, you’re the best hulk (or Incredible Hulk, I don’t remember how I said it), I’ve seen all your episodes, I have all the hulk action figures in the world, I have all your posters and I’ve read all the comics. Bottom line is, I think you’re the best Hulk in the universe!!!

You guys know what he told me???

He said, “What?”

Folks...I’m walking out of this thread as we speak...

Quick question for the travelers on here: Have your ever had any trouble taking action figures on an airplane? I'm about to fly out of state to visit family and I want to pack a couple of 6 inch Marvel Legends in my backpack. Or my new 12 inch ML Wolverine. I've check the TSA and airline websites and haven't seen anything prohibiting figures but I'd rather not have any surprises when my bags and I are being scanned. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I've done it a few times, no problems at all.

I talked to an employee at a local TRU today and he said the Black Panther stuff is being held until the 1st. Now I know what I’m doing that morning haha.

Lou Ferrigno is deaf. Or at least partially deaf. I used to this was common knowledge, but I've run into quite a few people who didn't know. He probably didn't hear you.

Lol...yeah, that's my whole point my friend. I was trying to make a joke but I see it didn't work out.

Hey...you got it! I mean, you got the point but not the joke.

Seriously, I did see him but I knew he can read lips. I didn't tell him all that, I just said hello to him. He actually got into an argument with Sam Jones (Flash Gordon) over I don't know what but it made the news recently.

Could go the other way too... knowing nod of approval from the TSA official and optional toy collector secret handshake afterward.
