I did get the hooded screaming dude from the Villains wave for $10 yesterday from Amazon. Was hoping the AIM Scientist would also go on sale, but no dice.

The sale at Pulse was a joke because the 15% just made everything be regular price.

Flash Gordon and Ming 1980s style
 

I was a huge Flash Gordon 1980s fan. I never had the 3.75" figures. I did not known there were figures until about 20 years and they looked like crap. Not a huge fan of Defenders of the Earth but Flash and Ming looked decent. My Wife bought the 1980s Flash and Ming for my Birthday. I wish the Ming had the Animated series paint apps and proper goatee. 1 more version of these due out next year. Wish McFarlane had the license.

That's awesome... didn't even know those figures existed. Flash Gordon was my first ever favorite movie as a real little kid... but then I moved on to Tron... and then to GI Joes... and then to X-men.

Dorksidetoys had a pretty good Thanksgiving week sale. I picked up 3 figures from their sale. I wouldn’t call the prices steals but they were good enough for me.

But yeah, most places didn’t really do much in the way of discounts. I usually wait and buy movies and tv seasons around Black Friday. I only bought two movies this year because the discounts weren’t that good.

It may be true that "all of the sales have been ongoing for weeks now". However, it doesn't make the fact that everyone just seems to be getting rid of shit that didn't sell well untrue. The AIM Scientist was not on sale and the "Screaming Dude" being liquidated is further evidence of that.

Agreed! If nothing else, "all of the sales have been ongoing for weeks now" should give retailers MORE opportunities to put up good sales, instead of the dismal showings that we've been seeing for weeks.

Picked up 2 vintage Joe vehicles over the past few weeks. DEMON from Destro's Iron Grenadiers and Warthog. Never had these as a kid. Had to spend some time cleaning the DEMON. May have come from a Smoker's collection as it was filthy with brown film all over. If you are in the VA Beach area visit Toymeister and in you are in Northern VA, Echo base just opened today in Centreville.

Beast Man's design in MOTU Revelation does not have armor like the classic figure.

Beast Man had armor in the original. That sounds boring.

Now you got to find that Destro's Despoiler for the DEMON, I've always found it way cool that the Despoiler can "park" on top of the DEMON.

I love APCs, Warhog is no exception. Looks like both vehicles come with all their guns and missiles.

Echo Base is just 10 minutes from work! I gotta stop by after work and check it out.

The Warthog is my fav GI Joe toy of all-time... I remember one time as little kid I had to take a flight to visit my fav cousin for a few days and all I had in my backpack was the Warthog and some Joes and then what little room left there was I just stuffed some clothes inside and that was it... I was good to go.
