Sometimes I get bored waiting for parts to show up... and things happen. I was trying random heads on one of my spare Collector bodies and I came to this blond painted Jurassic Joe, and Master Man just clicked into my head. But when I checked some reference for MM’s costume... well, his costume was pretty lame. So I thought about making him look a little bit more like what I thought the Nazis might dress a super “hero” in, and ended up dipping into my supply of Star Lord bodies for this guy. A little bit of paint and some Crimson Guard epaulettes and viola, Master Man. He ended up looking more like Fawcett/DC’s Captain Marvel villian, Captain Nazi, but whatever.

Check out my Spider-Gwen, aka Spider-Woman, aka Ghost Spider custom. I have a blog at www.gotstratosphere.com where I go into more detail and have a few more pics of my 4 inch Spider-verse.

Confirmed: this Wal-Mart exclusive VENOM is 4 inch scale.
The Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital-Code/Action Figure set (box set on the Left) doesn't seem to be commonly stocked at every Wal-Mart, however. But it can also be had in the Carded stock along with a digital movie code (carded figure in the middle) at the electronics department. Hoping these type of video/figure box sets are a hit and become a new trend of offering action figures. https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/334...0&odnBg=FFFFFF |

Granted no clue who made this one for the home media release. But still cool that the venom exclusive at walmart tradition is carrying on. Exclusives like this have done well in the past with WB material, so I hope they continue on. Rather surprised Deadpool didn't do this. *Edit* It's a standard 5 POA. Rotation arms, legs and head. No knees or elbows. Same as Avengers AOU stuff was. |
I remember when Best Buy had some exclusive DCIH figures with a few of the DC animated movies. Too bad they didn't keep up with that because I loved the Hal Jordan that came with GL: First Flight.

i'm just stoked that it's an actual action figure & not a statuette. There's no indication aside from "Made in China" that says who manufactured it but i'll take a closer look when i get home. i put my money where my mouth is :D... http://www.toyark.com/attachments/51...3-img_2438.jpg |

Since then DC added those mini statuettes with their animated movies and i've seen the mini Funko Pops with other superhero blu-ray/dvd combo sets. i'm hoping that they pick up the action figure offerings again starting with Venom. https://thumbs.gfycat.com/Selfrelian...lDog-small.gif |
UPDATE:
The Blu-Ray/DVD/DigitalCode/Action Figure combo set DOES feature the same carded stock as the single digital code release. And the action figure DOES have a pair of interchangeable arms too! |

Movie 4 inch VENOM + 1. action figure offering. 2. inexpensive (few dollars over a BluRay/DVD combo set). 3. movie likeness. 4. detailed sculpting (specifically the head sculpt and veins throughout the body). 5. interchangable arms. 6. vintage styled card back and the fact it was packaged/sealed separately. - 1. height (4 inches even). 2. limited articulation* (only his head and legs completely rotate). * NOTE: the pic of his arms show that the shoulder pegs and sockets are semi-circles, locking both pair of arms in a single position. http://www.toyark.com/attachments/51...9-venom-01.jpg http://www.toyark.com/attachments/51...5-venom-02.jpg |
