They are both AWESOME! If you are unsure of the height then perhaps shaving it down a notch to Juggernaut Colossus height may do.

He will interrogate bad guys with a straight razor while playing stuck in the middle with you. ;)

Just saw Into the Spider Verse. So much wasted 4 inch potential. Characters not making the promotional rounds that are in the movie would have been great figures. Ugh. Even Miles dad would have been a great 4 inch Cop figure. Waste.

Well, at least Miles' spray painted costume is an easy custom to make(btw, was anybody else distracted by how much he was probably huffing it during that last fight? Speaking from experience, it takes a day or two for those fumes to air out).

BTW, I found a good, cheap base for that particular custom in the Ultimate Peter Parker Spider-man figure(Miles would be better for joint rub, but it fits the nature of the costume), but I want to put in the webbing detail as seen in the movie. So, my opinions are:

Hand-paint them with a toothpick or thumbtack after the suit is painted black. The paint for the webbing would be silver with a hint of black in it. I'm also considering a drop or 2 of 3D raised paint to help it stand out a bit more.

Or I could just paint the thing black and carefully etch the webs into the dried paint with a thumbtack.

Which one do you guys think would work better?

Jackieboy 01-02-2019 07:17 PM

Belated Happy christmas and new year guys.
nice work on those extensions for juggernaut.perhaps a bit shorter?
welcome to the latest member of the ark, hope you enjoy your time here.
outside of the fortnite figs picked up rainbow pool pack.kinda brings all the 3.75 deadpools and sets together i think a few alternate head switches can enhance them.shame we never got headpool.
id slightly disagree with the spideyverse comment seeing as we got a ton of different spideys down through the years from baghead to ben reilly.we may have a better selection than legends if you include the spiderman line from back in the day.though we are missing spidergwen and spiderham!

you could try sourcing an older smaller 3.75 spidey that had the webbing actually imprinted into the sculpt, undercoat of white for webbing effect(paint will seep into the webbing grooves) top coat of black for suit.use a light paint that does not build up in areas.gundam pens are good for those type off jobs.

Let this dude know as he may feel the same about 3.75 inch / 4 inch figures. He should be involved with Mattel's bid for Marvel.

Super Joe 01-02-2019 09:02 PM

F-15 Eagle piloted by both Monica Rambeau and Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. The very jet that inspired this toy given to Goose's son in Top Gun. Bobby Vala has a similar toy jet with his call sign "Vicious Vala." Hopefully he'll be hired by Mattel where Vala can do even bigger better laser scanned F-15s in his favorite 3.75 inch scale,

SR-72 a descendant of the SR-71 "Blackbird" (a la X-Men's favorite ride) is rumored to be in Top Gun 2020. Photos of Tom Cruise in a high altitude suit surfaced with filming at NWAS China Lake (where the Navy experiments new systems like the SR-72). Once MCU does X-Men films hopefully Marvel's Jesse Falcon will see the importance of not being pigeon-holed by Hasbro. Allowing others interested in 3.75" like Mattel's Dave Vonner and Bobby Vala to make cool toys (again) just like these,

I considered the webbing imprint, but the more closely scaled Spidey I'm looking at is cheaper, so may as well be more scale accurate.
