Not sure where they got that info, but it appears that the stores will close a lot faster than I thought. I am really bummed by the fact that 2 of the 3 stores in the area will close, but the Babies R Us across the street from the bigger store will remain open??? The other closing is the newest TRU Express at a new outlet mall. |

So, anyone who has any of the Medicom MAFEX figures... the upcoming Gweenpool is so perfectly ripped from Gurihiru's artwork that I'm inclined to get her for my wife, even at the steep price tag.
My question is, while the figure is "listed" at 6.3 inches, people have been saying that's a standard listing for most, if not all, MAFEX releases, and is more a scale reference than anything else. So, anyone who owns any MAFEX figures, how do they scale with Marvel Legends? Because while I still have every intention of picking up the ML Gwenpool, this one blows the Hasbro figure out of the water. |
Can someone, if you have them, put a Luke Cage head on the Sandman (preferably the SDCC version sandman) if not, the BAF one is fine and snap and post a pic.
thanks in advance.. Quote:

Hasbro would make a killing if they could do a series of packaged sets of just different variant heads of Marvel characters. For ex: unmasked comic based head sculpts of Cap,IF,DD,Wolvy,Scott,IM, along with battle damaged half torn masks head sculpts as well. Another set they should consider doing is an "power" display accessories pack with stuff like 2 different length optic blasts for Cyclops, one could be a long distance optic blast of say 8 inches, another could be closer lke 4' optic beam effect. Make laser eye beams for Hyperion & Gladiator. Some sort of flame throwing effects for Human Torch & Sunfire. I may be alone in this thinking but I'd buy those up in a heart beat!

A collector called Tattooinesandworm found these listings on Brickseek, sounds like for some kind of Legends-related line.

Is that TRU X-Men pack from 2013 worth owning?
I’m not blown away, but I could get it for a deal. |
varies on your costume preference, if you like your x-men like that go for it. It's hard to say when or if Hasbro will release newer versions in the future. Though bare in mind that the x-men are getting "the avengers treatment" this year , i tend to see what Hasbro shows us at toy fair, before buying anything. You can always go if you feel its a bargain and sell it later down the road ... I skipped it , mostly because i prefer the 90s or modern suits of the x-men rather than the 60's
