Out of all the sub teams, Slaughter's Marauders are my least favorite. I just find their color scheme of dark green, light green, baby blue and brown appalling. So I skipped the whole set...which I'm regretting now.

However, they do have the best vehicles! Especially the Equalizer and Lynx.

Out of the 80s sub-teams, Slaughter's Marauders comes 3rd after Tiger Force and Python Patrol for me. I still think SM paint scheme is much better than Night Force, which is my least favorite.

I found America Chavez at Target for $6.89 and picked up the Batman vs Hush 2 pack at Gamestop.

Those are great. And maybe this is more of a Hisstank convo, but in general, I was never into the sub teams that were just redecos. Even as a kid, I felt I was getting ripped off by buying the same toy with different colors.

Tiger Force, Night Force, Marauders, Python Patrol? Blah. Give me Battle Force 2000, D.E.F., Eco Warriors, and Ninja Force.

Normally, yes, this would be a Hisstank convo, but Hisstank convo always quickly turned into shouting matches about shipping date or Cobra Commander's hood. I actually enjoy talking about Joes here more. Ha ha.

The Book of Boba Fett Black series and Retro Biba Fett. As a Boba Fett and Mandalorian Collector, lot of great figures have come out in the past year with more on the way.

JC Penney was a hidden goldmine for Legends and Black Series a few years ago !

I remember seeing posts in Legends groups on Facebook where people were finding the Jim Lee version of Cyclops at JCP, while everyone else was striking out at WM, Target, Walgreens, and TRU.

Back in '16, I actually lucked into a $15 Black Series Sabine Wren at my local JCP, two days before Christmas. I had seen, again, lol, in FB collectors' groups that Legends and Black Series figures were on sale at JCP for X-Mas, so I braved the crowds and lucked out.
Oddly enough, the Sabine that I had ordered from Amazon had just arrived that morning, so I displayed one as permanently helmeted and the other as permanently un-helmeted, to avoid scratching her face paint by constantly removing and replacing her helmet.

I owe you big ups, my dude. When you posted this pic I hopped over to Amazon and found the listing. They had him for $31 so I ordered one. I thought if anything it's another PO for the collection. To my surprise it shipped the same day. A very pleasant surprise. It's a great figure. Thank ye, man!

P.S. Hasbro really needs to leave off with the white spray paint "scar". It's terrible.
