Bluh, okay. I've seen some packaged samples with TRU Exclusive labels on them so I'm wondering if they're showing up yet.

Yeah, dunno exactly where the stateside ebay folks are getting their stock but to my knowledge no signs of em in store nor online orders being fulfilled which makes me sad panda. Funny enough my TRU.com order still says "Item(s) on hold until release date: 06 / 09 / 14"

I do vaguely recall someone on Fwoosh saying their order from Japan might have processed payment and/or shipped em out and some of the ebay listings note that there's Japanese writing on the bottom of the packages.

I hope they're hinting i mean they could have a computer file lost or something not sure how these figures are made but kinda sure a computer file is involved

Serious Lee 07-04-2014 09:54 AM

I'll get excited when Bulldozer finally gets into my hands, but the 'teasing' really has to stop! Lol. I think we'll get an answer at SDCC on the 'lost' figures, however if we don't, then there will be issues between collector and producers of ML all over again, or at least rehashed until SDCC15. They've found a way to get 2 of the Jubilee wave out, now we just need the other 20+ figures to pop up! I'm sure they will all see the light of day though, I just hope my grandchildren will like a 1990's set of the Wrecking Crew!

Luv u Hasbro!

That's ebay prices right? I just need both arms now with the tubes...

skywarrped 07-04-2014 11:39 AM

The Marvel Store still has those Select figures at $20 and for today only there is Free Shipping. Might be a good time to buy some! Unfortunately there's only a few pegwarming Legends figures available.

Marvel Store

Edit: Use code MARVELSHIP

I hear they are showing up in western Canada.

bmorr 07-05-2014 06:18 AM

I have a legends black cat for sale or trade if anyone wants her.

Relena Warcraft 07-05-2014 01:18 PM

What's the best Cyclops figure in MU? I've actually been considering the movie version that came with movie Colossus during the Wolverine Origins line.

I think at the moment Hasbro's Astonishing Cyclops looks good [Puck wave]

or if your going for movie X-men 2 cyclops , i like the trench coat one , but there is one without ^_^

The X2 Cyclops in coat is nice, he is my choice for a movie line.
If you are looking for comic versions I would say the Jim Lee blue and yellow figure from the X-men Classics (Marvel Legends) is the best. I never liked the Astonishing or NOW outfits. I like Cyclops to have his hair showing.

I'm the same way, actually. I never liked the "body condom" look (which I guess is appropriate because Cyke is a giant dick). It could just be nostalgia, since I grew up with the 90's cartoon on the air. Either way I'd totally track down the old Jim Lee one if it wasn't so expensive and outdated...

I have wanted the Jim Lee one forever as well, but the body, hips etc make it a no go. If I were a Customizer, I definitely wouldn't be paying $50+ for just the head either.

NoodleChow 07-06-2014 09:46 AM

Yup, mostly what happened with me. Thought I'd update a 90's Cyclops after getting a headcast of the XMC one but then got lazy and only painted up the head. Kinda dig the new suit with the hair look though.

See, that makes that outfit look so much better. Now he just needs a belt or some pouches at the waist to break up the body suit.

something that marvel now cyclops figure will be good for

EDIT lol cheap custom perhaps ? ?? roughly buy Jim Lee cyclops head , Astonishing cyclops as base figure , Marvel Now Cyclops for the belt = perfect cyclops figure

NoodleChow 07-06-2014 10:40 AM

Hmmm... whenever those X-Men legends come in, I'll prolly get another JL Cyke head to put on that one. Forgot the Now Cyke has a snazzy belt but never liked the look cuz it seems like his eyes don't really clear where the X visor is.
