What would suck so bad is if you had a MOC box like the Star Wars stuff and never opened it then one day you decide "what the hell" and all you find are repackers remains...ie (plastic bits from some other toyline not even a vehicle) Oh man the rage would probably turn me into the Hulk lol

MeGrimlock79 08-22-2012 03:02 PM

I found this at TRU last week....didn't pick it up as I don't collect MU anymore for lack of distrubution around my area

The one that comes in the TRU pack and price includes shipping.

That's crazy the pack alone is 45.

Veronica Mars 08-22-2012 03:25 PM

I think we'll see wave 20 before the end of the year, maybe not wide spread tho

Alchemist559 08-22-2012 03:25 PM

Or I should have said the pack itself is $45, your paying for almost half the pack for one figure.

I have a good size MOC collection but its all window boxes and single-card stuff (and SDCC exclusives). The non-window box stuff I open right up!

Haha! Being a collector, that actually makes perfect sense. Some of the Joe vehicles I've bought have had windows and I always wondered why I was opening it when it's already perfectly displayed.

I would hope that I would be calm enough to seal it back up and pretend it never happened, lol.

I have that Angel and I think he is the bee's knees. Seriously, one of my favorite MU's. I would wait if you only need one Angel. He's so cool though.

Absolutely, man!

scottmurdock 08-22-2012 03:28 PM

@ Chemist - Agreed, but it costs about $15-$20 in gas to get to the "good" TRU and one would have to assume things are in stock (the customer service isn't always up to par). Plus, I'm sure I'm not alone in this, I'm not the most patient collector :D

GERRILLIUS 08-22-2012 03:29 PM

Any one got any jazwares street fighter figures - 4" scale - they are trying to wash their hands off of?

If you don't want the whole X-Factor pack and have the extra money, then I would pull the trigger. The single card should be blue right? You may not get another chance at the red one.

Jimmyo 08-22-2012 03:33 PM

If it was me, I would wait but that is because I am in the toy equivalent of the bermuda triangle and that Angel is Beautiful in blue

Veronica Mars 08-22-2012 03:34 PM

Scott which is the good TRU?

You are dead right there, but none of the other figures are "really" that desirable(except possibly Jean) or HTF so say Scott buys the set,he could be left with 5 figures he might struggle to shift, this is a problem i often have!!! (Usually il pay a bit more and get the single figure,i cant stand excess figures filling up my space,i end up giving people really good trade deals just to make some room and de-clutter!!!) So its better to pay more for one and not have the hassle of getting rid of the others!!!

For me Ronnie, Roseville. Their clearance section is pretty solid and they almost always have the Marvel 3.75" lines stocked. When they re-stock or have a promo, it's borderline epic...a full wall, bulkheads, and floor displays. Plus A1 is just a short drive away. The one in Sac is awful and kinda scary, lol. I used to live in the Bay and those are all pretty solid.

WoRkAh0LiC 08-22-2012 03:40 PM

Off topic for a second... Is there any way for me to get a higher limit on my inbox instead of the standard 50? I'm getting tired of deleting stuff right away to make sure I have enough room for more PMs. I mean, I don't expect a flood of PMs, but I like to be prepared. lol

scottmurdock 08-22-2012 03:41 PM

Oh, and to everyone that's already responded, thank you much! I'll hold off a little bit longer. Petey, LM, and Fancy are bound to 4/$25 this guy eventually, yes? Yes?

Yeah I've never been to the one down on arden and the one on greenback never stocks anything

We should get a Northern Cali 'arker carpool going, lol. It's a bit of a trek for me since I'm closer to UCD than Sac.
