IT'S A DAMN GOOD DEAL!

You know this to be true..

Jason Abbadon 08-22-2012 08:36 PM

It's a terrible deal- there's only one place those kids could possibly be squishing out of a guy and I aint taking anything from there, pal.

Damn, I've only been waiting a freakin month for a case when all I needed was four figures! If I find Kang and SW oline, I'm getting a refund- I alreadyhave She Hulk and Punisher coming from a BBTS preorder I stupidly forgot to cancel!

GRRRR! GRRRR, I say!

For me Ronnie, Roseville. Their clearance section is pretty solid and they almost always have the Marvel 3.75" lines stocked. When they re-stock or have a promo, it's borderline epic...a full wall, bulkheads, and floor displays. Plus A1 is just a short drive away. The one in Sac is awful and kinda scary, lol. I used to live in the Bay and those are all pretty solid.

I don't know about Roseville true being well stocked, I'm there every wed or thur depending on when they tell me truck day is, and they rarely have MU stocked, I definitely wouldn't want to drive all the way from Davis to find that out. I keep waiting for them to get stuff and keep getting let down.

I'm down, we can do a yuba to sac hunting trip, 4 tru's 6 or seven Walmarts, 8 targets, it'll be epic.

Isn't the MOE triple pack coming to retail with Radioactive man without the clear plastic? Or is that a cruel joke?

I saw the collector 6 pack the other day and passed on it. They had 5 of them at my local TRU, but I went there today and they're all gone. I wasn't really looking for it, but I always check around the store since they don't keep all the Marvel figs in one spot. For some reason, I just don't like that 6 pack. The only figure I would want out of the whole set is Angel, but then again, I'm a on-card collector. I would actually consider buying the Angel loose for my son. He takes real good care of his figures - I could grab all his stuff and sell them as near mint. He's actually that good. His toys could pass for adult collector used toys lol. I taught him well.

It's still possible, you jsut have to have the subscription confirmation number and be given the pdf of the form. The form is good until the end of the year...

I got it to work, and they gave me the form to fill out after I subbed. Basically, go to the marvel. com/victorvondoom link, which will take you to a screen saying the promo has ended. Click on the "Click here to visit the Marvel Digital Comics Headquarters page" and it takes you to a regular sub page. On the page it takes you to, there is a subscription drop down window in the middle of the screen. Make sure it says 1 year for 4.99/mo (59.98 for the year). Then click subscribe and it will bring you to a screen which has the Promo Code DOOM616 already pre-loaded for you along with a $17.96 discount. The new total is $41.92. Once you sub, it will bring up the next page which shows you the downloadable PDF form for the exclusive Doom fig. Fill that out with your info along with your sub # (sent in an email), and you're good to go!

I didn't really care about the fig and I've promised it to someone else already. :) Hopefully, anyone else that missed out on it can use the above process to get it for themselves!

Glad to be of assistance! I really want the single carded Red Hulk too.

Also, if anyone needs Colossus/Juggernaut comic 2 pack, I have some for trade/sale. Check my BST by clicking on my sig. (I said this before, but just putting it out there again).

Side note: Nice FF Spidey sig, Scythe!

Skullgmo44 08-22-2012 09:31 PM

I got this bad ass signature pic that I would like to, well, make my signature. Any tips on how to go about doing that?

My uncle works there.
I was there 2 years ago. I had thought of going out to a TRU for visit but then when I looked how far away it was from Davis I changed my mind.

For $19.95 each.

Paying essentially double what it would go for in regular stores would really hurt my wallet, especially since i made the decision to cut back on most of the comics i get due to some unfortunate bills. If they were regular price, i might have caved and bought one. But at that price? I'll wait.

Good thinking. $20 each is BS.

Dang...i didn't realize until after i posed it sub-mariner is still on his back lol.

Nice job! Now who is yelling at you to get your toys off the dinner table? Lol.

seriously. Zombie sttaff would be a huge improvment.

At least then they'd walk over to you and make noise if they saw you in the store. Now they pretty much ignore you unless you pin them down.

Hang in there Jason, at least you'll have the figs before most...

That was the rumor, but no one ever verified it. I think it was the HOPE of fans who didn't want to pay for the SDCC pack.

It's a reasonable rumor, just hasn't been verified or shot down by Hasbro yet.

So you Wave 18 waiters, I've got extras of most of them (cept Kraven now). So if you want any of them I'd take $10 each plus shipping to try to cover some of the case-buying cost.

Hit me up! (Or wait a couple months and maybe you'll see all these in 4/$25 deals... maybe).

Oh and I got an extra King Loki who would be perfect for opening if anyone wants him. Otherwise he's going back to Marshalls...

Example:

(Kraven's gone and the extras I have of beast and spidey are the 'regulars')

I purchased the "W2" version in the beginning of the month but it went out of stock. I kept my order in place but have yet to receive them. I know someone mentioned that they did the same. Has this person receive their figures?

Edit - Oops, didn't read further below your post. I see that J.A. did the same thing as I. I'm waiting too for my assortment.

That's seriously awesome... all the stuff I gave to my nephews are like... obliterated. LOL. Every time I go over to their house I see all their Clone Wars toys and vehicles like the Republic Gunship and AT-TE all beaten up and stuff... I just wanna cry. LOL.

You can drive the van and I'll be in and out in like five minutes with our figs- we'll be ong gone before cops show up to a toy store...
we'll use Star Wars Paul as a backup plan- he's got the storage locker bonanza of all time...and I have the interrogation scene from Bound memorized.
And a pair of chicken cutters, of course.

Sorry Paul, nothing personal. It's just how the plastic bends, man.

Drybrush that awesome Grey Hulk green and you'll be SO happy with the results! His grabby hand fits perfectly around the WWH's head!

PROVOST 08-23-2012 02:32 AM

Hi all!!

Have got two Avengers Black Widow figures MOC for trade (I am in Australia so shipping is about $10 or so both ways approx).

Ninjinister 08-23-2012 03:01 AM

Wait, I was under the impression that when someone takes a photo to "show appreciation" that means that they're showing off some toys they are fond of or something.

Like half the time though that's all that's said and they end up selling them instead. No indication is given that they're for sale, they just end up selling.

As a still-relative noob to this board, did I miss something?
