Ooo... great pics. I like the Udon Taskmaster we already got better. And I really like Cap's headsculpt... guess he doesn't need a shield anymore... even though in the trailer Black Panther told someone to "get this man a shield."

On another note, between the trailers and this figure, it looks like Thanos only gets the first 3 stones. The Purple, Blue, and the Yellow. Looks like we'll be waiting for part 2 to see him get all 6. (Unless I missed something, somewhere) I can't wait to see how Vision turns human, and then back red/purple before getting his stone taken from him. You can clearly see him with his stone and in human skin and then later on, Thanos (or someone) taking his Stone while he's on the ground. |
^ Oh wow... I thought that was a BAF piece... how is Cap supposed to throw that shield. LOL.

I knew Proxima Midnight would be MCU. Cannot wait to add Thanos, Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, and Proxima Midnight to my display. Way to go Hasbro!!! Who’s next?

24 new figures out.....
it's a great time to be collecting....and poor soon afterwards... |
I know it's going to be a female dog fest here...but this wave really reminds me of the original Thanos BAF wave. Peg Warmers galore I feel. ALways nice to see new things, but it does give that huge peg warming vibe.

I'm honestly not too crazy about that infinity wave... that taskmaster looks great but i have the previously released one. The BAF is mcu Thanos? Ehhh

Really solid wave, gotta admit. I am trying very hard to only buy comic book bases figures, not the movie ones. This wave might break me. Aside from Thanos' head, the BAF looks pretty cool. |
I....I like the whole wave. I'm in trouble, I was planning to originally get Iron Spider and Songbird and skip every thing else but I really like the way Cap looks, Iron Man looks to be a bit more articulated than the Civil War version, I just like about everything in Taskmasters design from cape to the broad sword, I love all the intricate details on Proxima and like the colors and scale pattern on Cobra.
Time to start saving I guess! |

GO hard or go home...And I'm not going home yet. TOYS TOYS TOYS TOYS ..and more TOYS!!! |
Decent wave, I actually like the Spider-Man but I don't need another Spider-Man. Will pass on him most likely. Songbird and Proxima Midnight for me for sure, on the fence on King Cobra. But I think it's a solid wave over all, it's way better than wave 2's rumored lineup.
|
I'm going to be really tempted to buy them all if my local Toyworld has them.
|
I could be wrong, but it's looking more and more like Cull Obsidian aka Black Dwarf is going to be the BAF for Wave 2.
My biggest fear is a 2 Pack with this same Iron Man and a new figure. I love my MCU Legends, however, I'm trying to cut back on duplicates. With that being said, who am I kidding? I'll find somewhere to display it. |
I am happy I won't have to buy another Iron Man in order to complete Thanos, although ironically this one might be a bit improved over the last few Iron Man articulation wise.

If it's not Black Dwarf then I'm really hoping it's Lockjaw. I'm not interesting the wave but those are two larger BAF I would absolutely buy on their own loose. |
Hasbro has been KILLING IT with these new face sculpts.
|
After seeing some additional pics on the Infinity War wave posted on Facebook a few minutes ago, I can't believe that Hasbro has finally done it. They have created a wave where I will be skipping nearly every single figure...
Iron Man MK48: Triangle arc reactor is back huh? I have the MK47, which is patterned off of my favorite Iron Man armor ever (the Ultimates) so I'm good. Taskmaster: I was on board for this one initially, but for some reason, Hasbro changed the entire face sculpt from the one that was shown at Toy Fair last year. Why? Did Super 7 threaten to sue? Songbird: I voted against her in the Hasbro poll every single time. Had no interest then, have no interest now. Though, the psi-effect might look good with Phoenix or the upcoming Psylocke. Proxima Midnight: Uhh...who? Naw....I'm good. Superior...ahem...I mean...Iron Spidey: I told myself only if he had the extra arms on the backpack. He doesn't...so therefore...easy pass. King Cobra: The ONLY figure I'm excited for in the wave. If the way past Serpent Society members languished on shelves is any indication, I'm not expecting too difficult of a time picking him up. Steve Rogers: This was actually one of the figures that I was most excited for, because I thought we would be getting a decent head sculpt of Chris Evans for once. After seeing the new close up pics, BOY did they miss the mark. It's awful. Does Hasbro not have the rights to Evans? It looks more like Andrew Garfield. What happened to the face printing tech? Looks like I will be digging around for a custom headsculpt somewhere. Thanos BAF: Cool...they made a figure of what Joss Whedon would look like if he was cross bred with an eggplant. Awesome. The headsculpt really sucks, and you know they most likely will give us a fully armored Thanos BAF in the future (cause...HASBRO!) so...why jump at this early? Horrible...horrible wave. Hasbro is really making it easy to pinch my pennies this year. Guess I should be thanking them. |
