Found the redistribution of the Casey and Raph two pack at Walmart. NECA elected to swap Casey's arms out for the single hinged style elbows this time but otherwise I think everything is the same. I never saw the original release of this pack or the ultimate Casey and the disguise look for Raph is certainly distinct so I couldn't think of a reason to not get it. |
^ I hope the NECA animated version of Casey Jones gets re-released too... he's so expensive now. I got the NECA animated version of Splinter and Usagi Yojimbo... just need to get the 4 main turtles now.

Edit. Ok so it was an interview with Randy Falk, I can’t find the actual interview itself but I’ve found boards with people discussing what was said, April is confirmed, they only hinted at Shredder and Casey, but apparently they did say don’t resort to eBay for big names in this line, suggesting they got re releases planned |

And yes, wasnt sure what brand as i hadnt seen them at all til seeing them on the pegs at the local toy shop The quality on mine is decent, basic articulation for what u need from crash, i would recommend checking the eyes as there was serious qc issues on some of them, like the eyes melting past the sculpt the aku is nice and comes with a durable display stand they also had, coco, neo cortex, and a couple of crash variants like future and crash 3 (biker) |

They are also doing one that includes Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, which comes out in the Spring. Hopefully they'll also do the GBA collection set. |

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...27cd08cb_b.jpg Bane and Killer Croc arrived in the mail today. This is the first generic comic Bane figure collectors have gotten in over a decade so I'm thrilled to have him but that doesn't mean he's beyond criticism. His articulation is largely standard compared to the rest of McFarlane's Multiverse but his torso is just one static piece except for a ball-joint at the waist which is prevented from crunching forward. His elbows feature swivel-hinges but an additional swivel at the bicep would've been helpful, I think the left elbow swivel on mine is stuck but I'm not sure how much I'd be using that one anyway since that's the tube arm. While he's mostly well painted there are a couple of spots where the paint is notably incomplete such as the black from the mask not going all the way to where the sculpting ends on his neck or the strap on his left bicep not being totally colored. The sculpt though is fantastic, granted some artistic liberties have been taken. The different textures between his boots, pants, top, mask, harness, and Venom tank are all excellent. Where some may take issue is his skin, Bane is typically drawn with fairly normal (sometimes hairy) skin but for this figure they seem to have taken into account how real steroid abuse can lead to acne scarring and stretched skin. Not counting the tubes Bane stands at around 9" tall which works with the 7" scale of the line considering this is Bane clearly jacked up on Venom and he's been drawn as even bigger than this sometimes. Bane may be the smallest megafig in the line so far but he still overall feels like a worthy addition. Some extra fist hands would've been really nice but these are so nicely sculpted that I'm not lamenting only getting these. This Killer Croc is sold as an Arkham Asylum figure and the details of his costume line up with that but the actual details of the figure itself feel a lot more like a modern comic version of the character. So it's sorta like what if Killer Croc in the comics happened to be wearing the same attire as his game version, and that works pretty well for me. His eyes are pupil-less yellow shapes, his jawline and teeth have been reined in for a slightly slimmer cut, his torso and bicep scales aren't a smooth surface here, and his claws are much more pronounced. To me this figure strikes a balance of being able to work with the other McFarlane Arkham game figures or with the comic roster. His articulation scheme is mostly the same as Bane's except he does sport a mid-torso joint and his waist isn't restricted, no stuck joints on mine but by design his pants do inhibit his ankles motion. Croc stands shy of 9.5" tall, he's like a third of a head taller than Bane. For anybody who might've been wondering, his shock collar piece is not removable. I'm not sure if it's glued in place, sculpted into a locked position, or maybe a bit of both but you would have to work to remove it and then probably work some more to cover up where it was. |

I remember when Arkham Knight was first announced, everyone said he would be Jason Todd to the point where Rocksteady proclaimed he wasn't going to be Jason Todd only for him to be revealed to be Jason Todd. What a mess that game was. |

Go Joe! Wow, the packing is just as impressive as the figure. I love the that the have the bio of the figure on the back, like the 3.75 inch Joes back in the day. This line is impressing me more and more. Thank you, Hasbro.
Note: If any one from the Hasbro team is reading this, I would like to apologize if my words were sometimes harsh when describing figures that I’m not to happy with, I will choose my words more wisely, I think my passion for collecting gets the best of me. Sometimes I need to understand some decisions for producing a figure comes from people that are not in the room when creating the figures. So on that note, I will critique, but be more understanding. But, also remember Hasbro, when my boss tells me something is not up to par, I do my best to try to satisfy his or her needs, because if I don’t, my boss will finds someone else to fulfill his or her needs, and I will be out of a job. Hasbro, again, thanks for satisfying my needs on this figure. |
I actually thought the packaging to Gung-Ho was cheap as hell. It's so flimsy and thin.

Got the Infinite Frontier Scarecrow. I would've preferred if the colors on this figure were how he typically looks in this outfit instead of being pulled from a very select few panels but it is what it is. My lightbox really plays up the colors though, the figure isn't as bright and loud in typical lighting but he does still evoke a sinister avocado. The sculpting is generally really well done but some color choices make it hard to pick up on little things. He actually has gloves sculpted on but the difference in color between them and his wrists' skin tone is seriously minimal, it's like they were going for those sorta cream colored sterile gloves. His head looks great, it's like the one part of the figure with actual paint apps and his nice long hair is particularly well sculpted but also soft enough to allow for some movement. He just has more movement overall than he looks like he would, his poncho is multiple layers of softer plastic so it is quite accommodating (when casually standing his left arm actually fits nicely under it all). This wasn't a look for Scarecrow that I would ever have likely asked for but I do like what they gave us here well enough. |
