Don't forget...

...SUNFIRE!

The original Sunfire is one of the best costumes ever designed imo.

Parademon1 02-01-2018 05:35 PM

Little classic MU comic I just started featuring classic MU Black Panther, only version of him I'll ever need.

SOLD! Thanks for the comparo pic, Lord Marvel.

i enjoyed Thor Ragnarok, especially incorporating Planet Hulk despite Marvel Studios not being able to produce another Hulk solo movie.
While i collected the entire Ragnorok ML line up, i was on the fence of another MCU Gladiator Hulk.

Your pic convinced me that its just more HULK to enjoy. Thanks.

Hover chair and... Where's Warren? Kitty?

But seriously, this is already so many kinds of wonderful. I'm short Jubilee, (a decent) Psylocke and a very impressive backdrop from being able to recreate this. Jelly.

I guess it's only really Warren and the chair you need for the TAS cast - as Kitty didn't appear in the classic 90's series. I was pretty satisfied with her being main cast in Evolution and W&XM - and even getting her own pilot (with added prescient Antipodean Wolverine) - so I forgive TAS. It managed to be awesome without her.

How many of the TAS villains can you do? Will 90s Cable be swapped in once he's available?

RoboSnuf 02-01-2018 06:02 PM

@Parademon1 - really enjoyed that. I've often thought of trying something similar, but I doubt it would come out even half as good as that. Great job. Very well done and thanks for sharing.

Don't forget Bishop! Though it may be better to see what Hasbro gives us than the tank that we have now.

hasbroherofan 02-01-2018 06:44 PM

Is there a way to do spoiler tags on here?

Thanks Nash & Robosnuf. I'm new at doing these comic type stories but it's fun to do. I don't even pre-plan these. I just put the figs in a fight & just change em up from pic to pic then make up my own dialog as I go along. Unfortunately Marvel has never seen fit to pit Sabes vs BP as far as I can recall so I have to do it myself. It would be a heck of a fight but in the end, I really think Sabretooth would prevail.

EZTOYDUDE 02-01-2018 07:35 PM

Man y'all complain way to much us at 3.75 thread wish we were so lucky yall get to chose from 20 figures already Panther,Spidey, thanos waves and still have more to come in 2018 we barley get maybe 10 to choose from with bad paint apps low articulation and terrible distribution ... So calm down stop Bitching and be grateful

Augustus_Cole 02-01-2018 07:53 PM

If Black Cat was able to wipe the floor with Sabertooth, I'm sure T'challa would eat him for lunch.

You ever hear of bad writing? Felicia Hardy, really? Back then, ripping off Spidey's webbing hurt Sabertooth. Back then, Wolvy had to dodge machine gun fire from the Hellfire club guards cuz it could kill him. It once took him 2 months to recover from getting stabbed thru the torso by a Samurai blade. Now he recovers from a Nuke in a few minutes. Back in the early yrs of both characters, they were not portrayed to be the indestructible machines they are now. In a way, I wish they had not been turned into what they are nowadays. So if you're going by the Sabretooth of the late 70s-80s possibly 90s, yeah, BP could probably beat em hand to hand, but modern day Creed, iffy. I always make my Sabretooth & Wolvy have their 80s level powers when they were not indestructible like they are now. It's a total joke at how Wolvy can regenerate from a single drop of blood, don't know if the same applies to Creed or not. Same goes for DP. Makes for boring characters IMO when ya know that no matter how much damage is inflicted on them during a fight, they recover fully from it.

Don’t you read comics? Nothing stays dead for long! 375 fo life bitches!!!!!

PS, the new ML waves look awesome, I honestly don’t see a looser in the crowd, and to everyone Bitchin about caps likeness in a couple low res package obscured photos, wait till you see it in hand... or go get your cataracts removed even in the blur I can tell it’s better than the generic white guy we got for civil war!

Add me to the list that likes your Black Panther pics Para.

I would so love it for Hasbro to give us a new Sabertooth.

Black Cat does have her luck manipulation powers though. It doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't land a blow.

I think Felicia was depowered when that particular confrontation took place, but I could be wrong. However you're right....doesn't matter how strong you are if you can't touch your opponent. Ali and Mayweather proved that for years...

I've heard of bad writing, and I get where you are coming from. I even agree that super hero powers have reached the point of insult to intelligence with the levels they've risen to over the years. Unfortunately though, you end up contradicting yourself through your post. You say the 70's and 80's are full of bad writing because Sabertooth could never be taken down by Felicia Hardy, yet, you pine deep down for the days where heroes and super villains weren't omniscient beings with power levels above 9000, which you elude to having also risen to that level due to bad writing. So...which is it?

If you go by eras, you're probably right. BP would scrub the floor with Sabertooth in the 70's and early 80's just like Iron Fist and Spider-Man did, while now a days, Sabertooth might be the fighting favorite.

Bad writing aside, I will tell you something I do believe in. The upset. I believe in it because as implausible as it may seem, in real life, the underdog can win in a convincing fashion while making their seemingly more powerful opponent look foolish in the process. Ask Mike Tyson, George Foreman or the Golden State Warriors two years ago if they thought their opponents had a chance? Did anyone really think Daniel Larusso would be able overcome Johnny Lawrence after Johhny swept his leg at the All Valley Tournament? Hell no...but he did!

It's why people dropped all that money to watch that McGregor/Mayweather fight. Because who knows what could happen if McGregor lands that one lucky shot?

Comics are no different, as we've seen Punisher beat Wolverine, Venom sending Juggernaut packing and Squirrel Girl defeating both Thanos AND Dr. Doom. It might seem silly, or poorly written, but upsets do happen from time to time and while it might make you groan or roll your eyes, it's part of the fun.

Given how much of the leaked lineup for the Apocalypse wave has ended up being confirmed so far, we're almost certainly getting a new Sabretooth this year.
