Did you have to alter the head to fit the DCM figure?

Local Toyworld does not have the Infinity War figures sadly. They do have the Black Panther wave though which is nice.

Supposedly it's a tracing of Shwarzenagger in his younger days- but not including the left arm... and the placement of the star... fudges it all up. It's pretty terrible, no doubt- but anatomically it's not really too far off when you see it overlayed with the Arnie pic... Ha!

no- but only because it's just wedged on the neck- if he were to fall off the shelf the head would go flying away. But I saw something on FB (I think) I want to try- gluing magnets onto the Mattel Neck and one inside the Hasbro head... gives it a little more staying power but doesn't limit any movement- I saw it done matching ML heads to Wrestler bodies and it seemed to work pretty well.

It's like he got halfway through drawing Cap in a side view, but then decided he wanted to do a 3/4ths view and just went on from there without altering the photo at all.

was checking out some vids. 2 things, Prowler and Lizard. prowler should come with a unmasked head and if i do get lizard i will repaint his pants and lab coat, most likely a black and brown paint. dont know if im gonna get both of these figures yet? im kinda torn

I think it was the Magneto figure that was rumored to be a modern design. We already got one of Sabretooth's most recent designs back in 2013, and though he is wearing a different costume at this point, I don't think it's different enough for Hasbro to go with that one after the most recent one instead of a more classic one this time. I'm guessing he'll either be First Appearance or Jim Lee.

Inspired by Bo Ttef's pretty slick mash-up, I decided to try the unmasked MU Tony Stark head on the RDJ Tony Stark body. Had to heat up the head a bit to get it on the larger ball-joint, but I like the over-all look.

Dose anyone know when Dorkside toys will get their Pre-Order of the New Deadpool Wave? I just Ordered Cable and there is no mention of an arrival date.

That looks pretty good, but makes it obvious that they unfortunately made that Tony head a bit big. I mean, I understand it was to make it so it wouldn't look to disproportionate when on the Iron Man figure it comes with, but still.

EDIT: Unless the angle his head is at compared to the body is screwing perspective for me a bit? Huh. Could you take a picture with the head facing forward?

I find it to be the happy middle ground between the still-coalescing simplicity of the original costume and overdesigned busyness (what the heck are all those snaps even supposed to hold closed?) of the current one.

I like it; helps to distinguish him from the million-and-one other characters wearing full-face masks like Spider-Man, Eel, Shocker, Blizzard, Spawn, Die-Hard, Pike, etc, etc. Also seems to add a touch of whimsy that feels appropriate to his personality.

Wasn't this first riders wave rumored to consist of three sets? Ghosty, Widow & ????? - right? I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to only be those first two sets in wave 1 - then they could run 4 (2 pairs) to a case and keep distribution even. Honestly, I'd prefer not to get sudden news of a shortpacked Xavier and hover chair that is made of unobtainium. Save it for the next evenly packed wave or BAV that shizzle.

I really don't know what to say about that. He seems to have had some good ideas for characters, but that link between what he saw in his mind and what was produced on paper was clearly frazzled.

The site says the case and set of 7 are expected for a February arrival and Cable individually is expected for a May arrival.

What do you guys do when you want the BAF but only like 3 of the other figures? I’m debating between buying the whole wave and trying to sell the ones I don’t want vs buying the 3 I want and hoping to find the BAF on eBay for like $50 or less.

I've found its easier and cheaper to buy the wave and sell off the ones you don't want. Either way you take a hit.

You literally had me LOL. Yea like i said before, i think it all depends on what side of the bed Liefeld woke up on. Some of his art was semi decent. He just had a problem with feet,weapons, and drawing too many pouches on every character he's done. No real person needs as many pouches as 90s DP and 90s cable had.

Yeah, I’ve accepted that there won’t be a cheap way to do it. I’ll probably end up waiting to see how difficult they are to find once they’re in stores and if it doesn’t look good, just order from BBTS.

Maybe they had lotsa twinkies in those pouches. Superheroing ( and villianing ) can be hungry work. :D

Thanos looks good. If Hasbro does release a Cull Obsidian, he will tower Thanos, who is already a massive figure. Very well done Hasbro.

You must be seeing a different Thanos picture than I am as the one I'm seeing looks horrible. He looks like he is finishing his Darkseid cosplay. Or maybe those are his pajamas? A Thanos without a helmet and armor is just no Thanos at all.
