That head sculpt makes it look like he just passed some serious space gas.

Byrnes 02-03-2018 09:25 AM

Yep, that Thanos looks bad to me. First BAF I don't want.

Tomax 02-03-2018 09:25 AM

The MCU Lovers will find a polished turd look good. That Thanos head sculpt looks like a nasty purple prune. How anyone can honestly say it looks good is beyond me. Same for the Steve Rogers head sculpt. Looks nothing like the man.

Bleh! That thanos looks like something from the Titan Heroes line, just with more articulation.

I don't want them to do it this way, but I could see them making store exclusive figures with add on parts (like his shoulder banana and helmet) just so people can get a classic MCU Thanos too. Either that or they'd make it a new store exclusive figure eentirely...

Oh man I'm glad you set it off...

I'm going to say it again, it looks good to me. I like what I want and collect what I want. If I like it, why in the world does it matter to you?

i bought those awhile back at my local chinese supermarket here in Miami. i use them as decor in my room. it just dawned on me recently that it would look perfect with a Iron Fist picutre. i believe you can look them up as "chinese dogs" statues. i have also seen them in a dark crimson red color.

The question should be, if you like it, why should it matter to you whether he does or not?

It works both ways. I think that Thanos looks and smells like wet garbage on a hot day, but if you like it, it doesn't change anything in my life. You're entitled to what you think. Enjoy your figure. I'll still be putting my pants on one leg at a time as will the rest of us.

Different strokes for different folks.

He really needs his helmet on. For some reason hes just not as menacing without it. Dunno why they made him look this way. The sculpt is nice but heres hoping we get one of him fully geared up...not couch lounging wear. :)

Because I did not say anything about him not liking it. I saw his first comment and kept it moving, it wasn't until his next comment that I decided to respond. Go back and check it out. I have said this a few times on here, to you and him...I don't care what anyone collects, however, I'm not going to let comic purist keep singling us (MCU Collectors) out because of what we decide to collect. At the end of the day all of this is subjective, but none of us deserve to get bounced because of what we do or don't like. Once again, go back and read his MCU lovers comment.

MCU lovers are very touchy. You cannot bad mouth any MCU fig Hasbro does. According to them, it's the next best thing since sliced bread.

That is the funniest thing I have seen all day.

VashTS 02-03-2018 11:30 AM

Bad design choice for Thanos.

Looks like Blankman without the intimidating mask.

Nothing royal or menacing. Dare I say, even Apocalypse from Fox looked better.

Dr Kain 02-03-2018 11:47 AM

Oh for fuck...

I went to TRU a little while ago and they had the price tags on their peghooks for the Deadpool wave. I asked the employee if they were in the back and he told me a guy came in when the store opened and bought all 16 figures they had. -_-

I don’t like the character design of Thanos for the movie, that said, the figure is spot on to the design! So it is a great looking figure ( representation wise). As for some people feeling a need to shit on others, I find they’re mostly the type that follow properties such as comics, toys, and movies only to bitch and moan about every aspect, arm chair QB every creative descision, and tear down every minor flaw, while simeltaniously contributing absolutely nothing to society as a whole.
