I know he's not a lot of folks favorite- but i really dig this version of Scorpion! He won't be taking the place of V.1 Scorp on the MK shelf- but overall he's a pretty great figure...

I think Scorpion looks great, but that mask definitely sits too low and looks a bit goofy in my opinion. If they only found a way to make it sit higher up on the face...

I think with a slight weathering effect it would look much better. As-is, it looks like Scorpion should be yelling, "Get over here, hyuk hyuk!"

not a fan of weathering and over-shading myself- 90% of the time it just looks like "Oooh- we dumped black paint over a toy"

Storm did weathering and wear effects on the Classic Ninja costumes' arm and shin guards. The skull mask being bright yellow just looks silly. Might as well put Skeletor's head on it.

This has taken me the best part of two years but I'm working on some more 3.75" customs now. I'm planning to make the entire cast of MK1 and 2, with a little bit of MK3 thrown in, a sort of MK2.5.

While watching MK11 videos, I think to myself - how awesome would be 3.75 inch line featuring diverse MK11 line-up. Sold in 2-packs with backgrounds resembling various stages, special effects accessories... Oh well...

That would be sweet but I've pretty much accepted the fact that if I want some 3.75/4 inch MK figures then I'll have to make them myself.

Speaking of MK11 though I'm loving Mileena and Rain. Haven't gotten around to playing Rambo yet.

I’ve just re-read this thread and it’s amazing to see how most of it is about the Jazwares MK9 line, we were so enthusiastic for it but ultimately poor quality control let it down. I think in hindsight, the sculpts were pretty good, but the heads less so (and the paint terrible).

I still have all the figures though and almost 12 years later, I now have a complete set of the main MK1/2 cast in 3.75” scale through customising the stuff we did get plus a few other toy lines.

I couldn't get the eyes to not look creepy on Kung Lao so his hat just sits low on display lol. He's just Jazwares Raiden.
