Hershel is slowly becoming more and more interesting a character.
So far, Glenn and Dale are my favorite characters. Rick's okay, and I can't stand Shane. Which says a lot, because aren't you supossed to hate the villain, and wonder why no one caps his ass? I think it's going to come down, not to Shane vs Rick, but to Shane vs Hershel. If anyone kills Shane, who's not a walker, I think it will be Hershel. Don't get me wrong, I think Rick and Shane will go head to head, if not the next ep, at some point in the future. But when it comes down to it, Hershel is shaping up to be a real hardass when he needs to be. So far, these two episodes have been a lot better and more interesting than most of the last half of the season. I really think about half of the farm episodes could have been shortened down and done in two or three episodes. Hope the rest of the season keeps up this pace. Quote:

I like Shane. He knows what needs to be done to survive. Rick is a good leader though he can throw down like a champ and isnt a heartless bastard much like Shane. I think Shane will just leave with that one chick so they can live on their own only to find they need Ricks leadership.

Anyone else entering the AMCdead.com contest?
The words for the contest are: "Everyone Stay Quiet". |
Not sure what to think about this episode. From this one and the looks of the next, it looks like they're being exceptionally hard on that kid.
I mean, my god... Shane's killed an innocent man who was trying to make things right, he's more than willing to leave any one of them for dead... he tried to KILL Rick in that parkinglot... he's threatened other members of the grouop... on top of all the other dumb shit he does and says, and yet they let let him stay. But try to leave that kid for dead (After saving his life), beat and torture him, and talk about killing him without even considering if maybe he's telling the truth. Yeah, he could lead everything to destruction, but shane definately will. |

I am still pro Shane and always will be. Rick even said they he would do anything, ANYTHING, to protect his family. In the end Shane and Rick are one and the same. One just walks down the left path, another the right. They BOTH end up at the exact same point.

The fact Rick came back for Shane I would hope would help Shane to be a little more...humane I guess would be the word. While Rick is now contemplating on what to do with Randall. What I love is that maybe one day Shane will decide to pay it forward, and save some one instead of leaving them for dead, while Rick maybe one day can make that split second decision to off some one for the good of whatever.

Yea, for sure, he even said that they kept them alive. Rick came on way to strong and I would of honestly just did it at a different time and had a heart to heart. I wouldn't of wanted to be talked to like that. "If you want to stay you have to get over it". Like come on Rick, you would of done nothing if your bitch wife didn't plant a seed. I cannot wait for Lorie to fucking kick it.
Oh and I do think it is Shanes child haha. |

If they're going by the comic, it is. Anybody else die laughing when she said it was Rick's baby no matter what, and he stared dramatically, and directly, into the camera for about eight minutes? It was the end of the bar shoot out episode. |
They just cast the governor which means that michone will show up last episode!!

I love the show did anyone think it was weird that hershal was missing the whole episode n his daughter was tryin to kill herself

Maybe that was a misslead, or maybe getting a taste of his own medicine by nearly getting left to die has messed with his head (in the good way) and started to snap sense back into him, and that little clip was a laspe back into old habbit. Maybe it'll be Shane at the end of the next ep who talks Rick out of killing Randall. But I doubt any of that. Though from here on, anytime I say I hate shane, I don't mean that as an anti-shane sentament. To me, that speaks volumes about the writing for this show. Shane's a great villain/antagonist for this series. |

I wonder if its on netflicks
|
Well if you like Shane keep your eyes peeled.....
I wont say much but you can find the spolier by googling Season 2 dvd/Blu Ray. Its pretty much out there now and fans are in an uproar about it being spoiled like this.... |
actually, that's been a loooooooooooooong time coming if you go by the comics. my friend stopped watching cuz she was pissed it hadn't happened yet. though judging from these last few eps, they made it so i don't actually want it to happen. soooo i dunno.
last 3 eps have been some of the best the walking dead has to offer. as much as i love slow burns, the comic series was jumping around and moving forward like nuts to a blender. so as long as the show keeps up this newfound pace and writing, i'm eeeeven happier. |
Yeah in the comics he was gone quick.....
