I wish I could say I passed on the toy next to that dryer, because then I would already have at least one.

But much like that hair dryer, the TFP selection around me at the moment really blows.

ersico 07-05-2012 01:47 PM

all i saw was vehicon..and nothing else

I hope you guys both didn't pass on a Vehicon up? Hook a Arker up!

D00MTR0N 07-05-2012 06:30 PM

passed on all of marvel legends wave 2.

trebleshot 07-06-2012 07:48 AM

Passed on an Avengers 3.75" Hawkeye (movie ver.) and several Skrulls. Just didn't have the funds on me to picking them up for trade bait.

Being a responsible adult and family man means having to ignore the inner toy collector in me sometimes. Under protest from that greedy SOB, of course. ;)

I'm glad at least one of us has that kind of restraint...

You're not the only one, passed on the Walmart Comic series exclusives 4 pack as well, although if anyone does need me pm, and I can see if they still have them.

though I have not even seen any skrulls,I know what you mean,it sucks to have to pass things up but family and priorities come first.

bmorr 07-08-2012 01:29 PM

went to marshalls and couldnt get myself to buy a crimson hiss tank for $16.

evilanimation 07-08-2012 01:44 PM

Me neither i saw 4 of them and the helicopter thing...4 cheaper than retail is not a steal, unlike when the hisstanks hit ross for 8.99 <that was a deal.

Same...thought the same thing...had both in my hands, then passed

Rane 07-10-2012 11:03 AM

There have been two Skrull Avengers figures on peg hooks at a nearby Toys R Us for a week now. I'm shocked they are still there.

That is surprising, nothing @ the one I went to today besides Lego Batman in that little bag.

Passed a Skrull as well at a Walmart.

Black Dynomite 07-10-2012 11:31 AM

Is anybody needing these? I see them and Hulks all day.

Same here. Definite peg warmers. Every where I've been to lately has nothing but Hulks and Skrulls (especially Skrulls) flooding the pegs.

SH0CKWAVE 07-10-2012 11:48 AM

I passed on x3 Avengers Skrulls at TRU. Even at $7, I'm over it. Yeah they're cool, just not grabbing my attention anymore.

Toys are funny that way.

SoundWave88 07-11-2012 07:57 AM

The lustre has faded. Speaking of which, in one of Tony Starks luscious wtf moments, he produced the controversial Iron Woodsman suit. I don't know, I kind of had to pass on it.

BIG NEWS! sort of.....

I spotted the new Transformers FOC toys! They look like shit and were 15 dollars at ToysRUs. NOPE. The previous line was of better quality.

Also im truly jealous that your stores actually order more Avengers figures.

Did they have a Shockwave? Would love to get just that one since it's more G1 than the others.

bmorr 07-11-2012 11:08 AM

Yeah they had like 4 of each. I've learned my lesson when it comes to retail and wait for target/walmart to get them for like $12. Trust me when i tell you they do not look very good. War for Cybertron Prime was SO much better.

Snailbot 07-11-2012 11:12 AM

I loved the look of the WFC figures but it still bothers me that Bumblebee was bigger than anyone else in the line.

I also saw them today and your right, they aren't worth 15 plus tax unless you can't wait to hold out for a cheaper price. Optimus looked kinda tiny too and flimsy.

Walmart would be your best bet in that case, then. Target is charging $14.99 for deluxes now.

D00MTR0N 07-11-2012 04:43 PM

rows and rows of empty pegs at walmart.
