Nice! Might have to do that swap myself just for the sake of stopping my Black Cat from knocking all my other female figures down every other night... lol.
Just curious, but how are you all going about removing her fur lining from her costume for customs? I figured it was all cut and sand, but a lot of the customs I'm seeing with her as a base look so clean that I thought maybe I was missing some special technique.

NoodleChow 07-11-2014 09:58 AM

I'm almost sure folks just replace the lower legs with Satana's lower legs.

NO the Magneto helmet is not removable. It IS a separate glued piece so IF you wanted to do a little work you could get it off and have a bald Magnus.

Thanks for the info man. Haha! "Bald Magnus" the stuff of dreams!

Finally! Toybiz Magneto serves it's unknown purpose!

I could never get him to look mighty, with that silly torso sliding about all the time!

Hey everyone! So idk if you all remember a D-list online store called ToyRocket, but basically they went under in 2009 and had crazy clearance sales around that time, but it took FOREVER for anyone to get anything. It looks like they recently relaunched, and they have the Jubilee wave for decent prices. I got a coupon code since I ordered from them in the past. Here's hoping they show up timely...

CA ML Emtpy (Maybe a WW2 Cap here or there)
SM ML Full of Superior and Amazing Spiderman's
GOTG ML Empty (Maybe Starlord)
X-Men TRU Empty

All of these spaces were the ML are suppose to be are surrounded by loads of the 3 3/4 inch CA figs, Kids SM Crap, junky GOTG toys, Mashers, 12" titan series figures, masks, and loads of other crappy toys that never move. But the Legends are always empty.

This has been the scene at every store I've hit over the last year. And I have loads of Targets/Walmarts and 3 TRU's in my area, it never changes.

Pretty much spot on here except for the Cap line. For some reason we have tons of Zemo, Stealth Cap and Winter Soldier that seem to warm the Cap line pegs here.

As for Spider-Man. Soooo many Superior and Amazing it's kind of ridiculous. Of course this is also because Hasbro seems to think they need to stuff pack Spider-Man because "that's what the people want and what parents will buy for their kids". Has anyone seen any parents buy a Legends figure for their kids? I haven't.

It looks like our local TRU got 1 case of GoTG. The extra Iron Man and Star Lord have been warming the pegs for at least a week now and are on the fringe of the end cap display while the cheapo toys and like 10 of those Rocket stuffed animals take up the majority of it.

who's feet did you use

Warmachine:
Yeah, I have the series three Magneto (I even posted it on a pic somewhere on this thread)...Initially, I wasn't crazy about this new Magneto. I've turned the corner on it now. Series three wasn't exactly a pose-friendly fig (funny ab-crunch/bulky cape). I think I'll be able to get more out of this new one....

En Sabah Nerd 07-11-2014 09:06 PM

Picked up my second legends figure tonight since I picked up Carnage back when those were new. Grabbed my Wal-Mart's last Nova, and now I'm done with the GotG wave. Also, on his bio they spelled "Xandrian", it should be "Xandarian".

I want this.....yesterday! It's been way, way, way too long without these two in ML.

So....how about a series of two packs with Hawkeye/ Mockingbird, Titania/ Absorbing Man, Cloak and Dagger,....who am I forgetting?

Luke Cage and Iron Fist, Northstar and Aurora, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, Beta-Ray Bill and Thor, Wonder Man and Grim Reaper, Deadpool and Bob, and many more I don't care to type at once.

Serious Lee 07-12-2014 12:29 AM

Ya man! Am I right though? Doesn't that have some potential? Themed 2-packs? I would say there is something to it! I'd like to know who sees the wrong in it! But, yes it's Friday and I'm all about weekend possibilities lol!

NoodleChow 07-12-2014 12:49 AM

It makes so much more sense than what they did with MU for the most part and kept packing in filler Caps, Spideys, and Wolverines. The ones I really enjoyed were themed like the Iron Fist/Power Man, Thanos/Adam Warlock, and Bullseye/Daredevil packs. I especially loved the 3 packs whenever they didn't cheap out.

With that said I'll take Gamora/comic Groot (somehow), Colossus/Kitty Pryde, Rogue/Gambit, Psylocke/JL Cyclops, JL Jubilee, or heck Archangel since that toy rocks, Dr Strange/Dormammu, Classic Ghost Rider on the AIM Soldier body with bike, and a new Cable/Domino.

Serious Lee 07-12-2014 01:10 AM

I forgot Havok/ Polaris and Lady Deathstrike/ Wolverine and She-Hulk/ Hercules and...yup...so many more...

Damn, I'm getting senile! Lol

Relena Warcraft 07-12-2014 05:24 AM

Give me a two pack of Captain Marvel (Carol) and Ms. Marvel (Kamala) and Hawkeye (Clint) and Hawkeye (Kate). Could call it like "Master and Apprentice" or something.

Phantomcrow 07-12-2014 10:04 AM

They did all those TRU 2 packs but most were really hard to find. I would like to see them come back very much.

You can take the time to use a dremel slowly grind off the fur on the lower legs and forearms. The fur collar is a separate piece that can be removed.

Yep that is what most do which can be pricey. Hmm I wonder if Jean Gray's would work on the BC body.

They are castings of Moonstone's feet that I bought from Casting Cave.

Kernel 07-12-2014 08:21 PM

I stopped by target to get groceries and was shocked to see 2 black widows on the pegs, especially on a Saturday night. First time seeing that at retail. The store was out of chocolate milk though, damn scalpers! ;)

I'll take one based on this Mark Brooks print. A modernized take on the classic BW with hair bump.

Any NY sighting of XMen Infinite?

I think it might be a very long time before we see coming BW again, that is unless Hasbro rereleases the 2-pack version. That would be cool with many of us for sure!

I think the movie BW body could see some reuse is this
