So Bandai has released the 2nd set of Star Wars HQ mini model kits. The Battle of Hoth complete set of gashapon models are a bit of a let down this time as 3 of the 5 kits are just repeats from the first set. Considering all the other vehicles that are featured in ESB, I'm not sure why they made this decision. I don't remember any X-Wings (other than Luke's) or Y-Wings at The Battle of Hoth, but an AT-ST, Probe Droid, or even a Rebel Transport Ship would have been nice instead.

It's an interesting alternate take but I prefer the actual fight we got as brief as it was. This approach called out Phasma for being a self-preservationist but the actual clash only lasted for like 5 seconds this time.

I'm actually pretty glad they didn't use that take. The sight of yet ANOTHER character losing a hand in that sort of comical, nonchalant fashion would have served as more of a punchline, and would have officially made the loss of a hand into Star Wars longest, running, gag. It came off as almost slapstick.

I don't understand how a weapon like that relying on kinetic energy can cut through her like that. Break the hell out of it maybe but clean cut? No?

Happy to have seen it, as cool as the hip firing was really was over the top fan service.

My local Walmart FINALLY put up a price sticker on the shelf for their exclusive Kylo Ren so I guess he should be coming out soon. Time-wise it makes sense since the movie is about to be available for home release.

I went ahead and got my voltron out of layaway from TrU (before they shut down sometime or another heh), then found Ezra with his speeder for only $4 from Dirt Cheap, then I finally found a 6" Ahsoka Tano at retail for $20 a store called Fred's (of all places)!!

Nice score. As a fellow Texan I find it worth mentioning that I found that 6" Ahsoka at HEB way more than any other store, of course now my HEB is still choking on early Rogue One stuff.

Yeah unfortunately from what I have seen in person like half of all Ahsoka's have had bad paint. I guess it's kind of understandable but it's still lame that you have to really sift through to get one that's acceptable.
