As for venom BAF. the venom with multipme heads would be the madness venom. I don't see happening... monster venom has to be something big. Symbiote T-rex ? Lol i wish. |

Hasbro should have also made him with tribal clothing with the new head, SMH. |
Him in tribal clothing would have made it a instant buy for me. Shame.

It's not like the body armor would have been too difficult to throw together either. I'm pretty sure we've already gotten characters with combat boots and military pants that could be reused.

since Spider-HAM came out, i think Hasbro has been reading our comments, thoughts?
i even made acouple of comments about wanting spider-ham :D wheres my cut Hasbro ;) |

EDIT: Thinking about it some more - I think we'll be very lucky if we ever get a Lady Spider - as I can't think of many options for mould reuse. As for variants of 616 Peter Parker that I'd still spend money on - where the hell is my 6" Amazing Bag-Man?? Stick him in a two pack with Forbush Man please (who could maybe use the new Doc Ock body). |
I have something that I want to bring up. If you look at some of the recent Hasbro ML figures shown at toy fair, all the figures have gloss finishes which is probably a byproduct of the plastic. I don't think it looks good on certain body parts, like on bare arms. On the Bishop figure, the bare skin parts had the same finish as the clothing, which had the same finish as the armor. I thought that it was probably a money thing, but then, I looked at the new Omega Red and his bare skin parts had a nice, sleek matte finish. Is there a reason why Hasbro doesn't incorporate different kinds of finishes to different areas on the figure? Is it just money?

I'm just assuming it will go half off. Like the Star Lord/Ego and Thor/Valkyrie packs have.

So I STILL haven't been able to get that Hydra 2-pack for a non-scalper price.
Seriously what the hell.... |
I already pay $30 for marvel legends in canada. Those regular figures in "premium" boxes will be $40 for me. Plus shipping if I have to order. The 2packs were around $70 here as as it was. So $80-85 now? And the 3pack will be over $100. At least Walmart still wants my money and has a clearance section. And where the heck are all the accessories with these "premium" figures? Seriously. Where are all the accessories? Now I have to pay extra for properly painted figures. Does that mean the quality control checks are gunna start slipping for the 'regular' legends? I still like you Hasbro. But it isnt love anymore. This relationship is abusive.

soooo...BBTS has the pre-order for Iron Man..Ronin and the cap/bones 2packs..
Reg figs are 27.00 and the two pack is 55.00 umm..yeah...no... won't be pre-ordering shit from them at those prices. and if that trend continues (25 and 50) i'll think i'll be taking other members advice and wait out some waves... though occasionally...some figs are hard to get. eg. Hela, Ares , Cyclops ones i never see on shelves. Might have to make executive decisions from time to time. Quote:
Were these never readily available in-store? i didnt' pay much attention. |

I think Hasbro definitely reads forums. Not necessarily every forum, so maybe not even here, but some at least. I think they have a good idea of what the most wanted things are, and balance that with cost for sculpting. Of course, sometimes they screw us over, like with the unmasked Killmonger (which I'll be passing on because it was such a jerk thing to do.) but we're getting so much good stuff this year, no matter what your interests are there's something, and that's been the way it's been for a few years now. I do see me buying much less this year than years past, but what I am buying is filling major missing spots in my want list, so I am definitely not complaining.

They really shit the bed with the Hydra 2-pack and it's kind of turned me off of them as a company. Unfortunately, Hasbro continues to release exclusives through them so there's no way to really outright avoid them. |

I picked up a pink Panther for $18 at Walmart. Keep your eyes peeled. Their comic exclusive was $15. I finally finished my Black Panther wave, below retail for the most part. Black Panther and Nakia... had to go retail since those figures became scarce after the movie.
|
SpiderHam will really cost 20 bucks?
I did not see any indication it will not be a throw in.....it sounds like a full priced figure. |
Anyone who follows Dallas Vintage Toys on FB should go check out their walkthrough of the Hasbro booth on FB Live. Pretty good look at everything.

Speaking of which....now I really wish that Everett Ross was M'Baku or Shuri instead. Not that I mind having an Everett Ross figure, but with all of the creative designs in that movie, "guy in a business suit" is kind of....bland. But it was easy money for Hasbro so meh.
Still though, I hope we get these two, and sooner rather than later. I'd also take a Klaw with a swappable forearm to replicate both modes of his arm. I'd go all in on a Black Panther movie line because I loved the movie that much, and this is coming from somebody who generally prefers comic figures. |
