My local Walmart finally got some new DC stuff out and it was just a case of the "fighting the frozen" Page Punchers. The caveman style Bat-family didn't do anything for me but this Mr Freeze was too cool to pass up (pun intended). He's like the Winter Blast version of a Big Daddy from Bioshock, he even sizes up pretty nicely to my NECA Subject Omega (sadly the only NECA Big Daddy I ever got). This is a hefty, chunky figure so it's no surprise the articulation gets restricted but there's some decently useful movement overall and with those big boots he stands well on his own. I might have preferred the eyes be angry semicircles like on the comic cover and card but I don't have a problem with them as is, and this is how they always look in the comic's interior art. Overall, it's a real neat elseworlds take on Mr Freeze.

New retro GI Joes are hitting Target. It took a trip to two stores and had to ask an employee to check in the back, but definitely a success.

Same. I managed to get them for free using Amazon points. I figured it was time to finally upgrade from my DVDs, which are getting old. I heard there are a lot of issues with these BDs, but it's not like the DVDs were problem free either (one episode on Season 1 had its audio channels reversed while they accidentally swapped the regular disc and DTS disc on another volume).
