Lingerie company Victoria’s Secret has created a video especially for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to congratulate her on landing her first ever acting role in Transformers 3. With it, we now have our first official confirmation regarding Miss Rosie getting the Leading-Lady role on the third movie.

You can checkout the video at their official FaceBook page or for those who don't have an account you can watch it here. But, please be warned that this video may not be suitable for minors. Depending on what you were focusing on, you may have seen the Transformers 3 logo and the Autobot insignia, or at least a form of it anyway.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will be filming her first scenes over the next week or so, if she hasn’t already, and we’ll probably get our first look at her acting abilities in the teaser trailer.

We would like to congratulate Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on getting the role and wishing her a bright acting career.

Transformers 3 - Tilting Office Stunt

Originally posted by: NIBMRatchet @ TFW2005.com

A brief video clip is up at Flickr that shows off what is reported to be a stunt for Transformers 3.

This is what the uploader said about the video...
"Full scale model of an office building, flanked by two huge hydraulic jacks that lift one end 30 to 40 feet in the air. I guess they are going to have a scene with soldiers in there while it is destroyed and collapses. A moment after this shot, two stuntmen slid down the length of the office floor. Looked like they were wearing uniforms and had weapons.

I'm pretty sure the exterior facade is an exact match of the nearby Horizons office complex (brand new but still vacant), where they will be filming some additional scenes. So I guess they will show that building collapsing. Better than having MySpace move in...

Shot at the former Hughes Aircraft factory lot in "Playa Vista". That huge building at far left is the hangar where the Spruce Goose was built or assembled.

A member on ACTOYS.net has posted new photos of five out of the six toys from the Generation One Seacons from 1988. These freaky fish were last seen as Transformers Collectors' Club exclusives in 2008. Now these new photos, one with the telltale "NOT FOR SALE" markings on Tentakil, are leading to speculation of another release of the molds. Will they be in Takara's Encore line, a US store exclusive, or maybe a convention exclusive, seeing how both Botcon and San Diego Comic Con are coming up?

Also, why is Overbite miscolored, and where is Snaptrap, the "Butcher of the Bogs"? Discuss below!

Few days ago we brought you some scans from the PREVIEW magazine showing the upcoming Transformers Figures from Hasbro. Most of the Images belonged to the Hunt For The Decepticons sub-line and the rest to the Generations figures.

Today marks the first day of the official gap between the 2nd and the 3rd Movies of the Transformers Live Action Movie Franchise. At the moment, Hasbro is getting ready to launch the above mentioned Hunt For The Decepticons sub-line with a promotional campaign where the buyers can collect codes and use those codes to unlock special content at the Official Hasbro Website. The site will soon be updated for the promotion.

Transformers: War for Cybertron game is due to be released this 22nd. Hasbro is set to launch Figures based on the upcoming game and the first wave will have Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron. Rumor has it that Soundwave, Ratchet and Starscream will follow their fellow War For Cybertron-ians in future waves.

New Power Core Combiners are making their debut soon too. With video reviews and images circulating around, there's no need to say a lot to the Transformers Fans. You all know, and knowing is half the battle.

Meanwhile in Japan, Digitalscape continues their work for Transformers: Prime. They’ve recently held a meeting to recruit more staff members for their “Transformers Project”. Hasbro will be releasing figures for the upcoming HUB Television Cartoon, but no word yet about the release date nor about the figures.

You can click on the Title Bar to take a look at the Transformers Figures you’ll find in stores on the coming months. Some figures are set to release this month while some carry the tentative date of August.

You will also find a list of the figures you’ll be seeing soon (Including the Activators and the Animated Deluxe Action Figures Wave 7 Rev. 1) if you click the Title Bar.

As if this was not enough, Alternity Convoy "Vibrant Red" edition has been restocked - this version of Alternity Convoy is the "classic Optimus Prime" colors version and is the hardest to find of the three released decos of the mold.

For Animated fans there is also good news - the recently released Transformers Animated Japan Blackout has also received additional stock. This toy has yet to be confirmed for a US release, so if you want to add Blackout to the ranks of your Animated Decepticons order now to avoid disappointment!

Review
Ironhide #2 serves as that often-seen middle issue of a mini-series: We’ve been introduced to the player in the story yet do not know of the resolution. Usually, those issues spin their wheels and don’t provide too much in the way of story progression or excitement. While Ironhide #2 does not provide much story movement, it offers some teasers that will cause some anticipation and plenty of discussion before the release of the next issues.

During the previous issue (Ironhide #1), Ironhide awakes on Cybertron to find that it is desolate and that he appears to be alone. Before he awakes, he was recalling the early days of the war on Cybertron…a time when Cybertron was still vibrant. As Ironhide #2 begins, Ironhide attempts to make sense of his current situation. He still appears to be oblivious to the reason for the current state of Cybertron and to his recent death as featured in Transformers #1.

Ongoing series writer Mike Costa continues authoring duties for the Ironhide mini-series. Much like the first issue, he blends in flashbacks and the present quite nicely. The story tone transitions nicely between flashbacks of vibrant Cybertron and the current devastated Cybertronian landscape. He keeps plenty of mystery within the story, with a scene and cliffhanger that will generate plenty of discussion leading into the release of Ironhide #3 next month. Said scene takes a different approach than that typically seen in Transformers comics and is a refreshing change…as morbid as it may be. My only complaint was that it was a very fast read. I finished and had to flip back just to make sure I didn’t miss any pages.

Casey Coller continues art duties for the series, his final series under a self-imposed retirement. His art, as with the last issue, features the more familiar looks to our favorite Transformers. His art continues to be balanced by Joana Lafuente’s colors, whose colors illustrate the perfect tone for flashbacks and the present.

Ironhide #2 delivers more than you expect from a case of the “middle issue”. While not advancing the story forward much, the issue provides some action and some intriguing mystery. More so than your standard storyline or cliffhanger, Ironhide #2 makes you want to come back next month just to figure out what the heck is going on with Ironhide.

Central Canada Comic Con (or C4 for short) is an annual fan convention held in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What's so special about this year's event is that, some big names from the Transformers franchise will be attending as guests.

First up is Transformers Artist Alex Milne. Mr. Milne is a Canadian artist, currently employed to the IDW Comics. He's the heart and the soul of most Movie based comic books such as the Movie Adaptation issues, The Reign of Starscream and Transformers: Alliance.

Another famous Canadian also joined recently as a special guest. He's none other than Raymond Park. Of course he needs no introduction. Most of you know him as the Darth Maul of the Star Wars franchise and as SnakeEyes of the G.I. Joe Movie franchise. Mr. Ray Park will also have a role in Transformers 3 but we are yet to learn who that character might be.

And the latest addition to the line up is Lee Tockar, the voice of Beast Wars Ravage and Ram Horn!

This year's convention is around Halloween from 29th October to 31st. You can visit the Official Website of the Central Canada Comic Con 2010 for more info.

Simon Furman updated his blog to tell us that…
“I’m off to Aalborg in Denmark in a couple of weeks for Nordcon, a convention organized by the Nordic Transfans Association. The two-day event is being staged over the weekend of June 19th & 20th and I’ll be there for both days, meeting and greeting. The Saturday will see a Q&A panel and on the Sunday I’ll be doing a Transformers script to page presentation that I put together with artist Nick Roche a while back. I’ll also be bringing with me copies of the script for War Within: Age of Wrath #4 (unpublished!) for signing and sale. Whoo-hoo! So, should you happen to be in that part of the world, do come and say hi.”

Also, NordCon 2010 will have its first ever Exclusive Figure; the HeadRobot. All the attendees will get a free Sticker Set too. 2010 convention will feature competitions for the attendees to enjoy and there will be some exclusive videos from Hasbro.

The July 2010 edition focuses on the next assortment of Takara-Tomy Animated toys, including (small) in package images of Jetfire, Jetstorm and Safeguard. There is also a section discussing the upcoming Lucky Draw Gold Animated Optimus Prime.

The rest of the Transformers coverage focuses on the upcoming Transformers 2010 releases and a handful of Japanese Revenge of the Fallen NEST series toys that are to get a second run. Among those NEST toys getting a second run are Bludgeon, Mindwipe and Human Alliance Barricade - so if you still can't find these guys at US retail, this might be an option. The Transformers 2010 initiative coverage focuses heavily on Unicron, who gets a whole page dedicated to him, including comparison pictures of the new head sculpt and the Armada Unicron head sculpt (seen at left).

One final interesting piece of news to leave you with - Takara Tomy's Transformers 2010 celebration plans are currently revealed through July, but the rest of their plans - including the true meaning behind the points included with Convoy Sleep Mode, Unicron and the Sons of Cybertron two pack - will be revealed at C3 X Hobby 2010 at the end of August. Director and executive producer Michael Bay has begun filming the third installment in the "Transformers" franchise in Los Angeles, where the production economy has been buffeted by the loss of such big studio features to other cities offering more generous film tax incentives.

The DreamWorks/Paramount Pictures production has been shooting on a sound stage at the former Spruce Goose Howard Hughes hangar at Playa Vista and will film exterior shots throughout the L.A. area over the next several weeks, including Long Beach, West Hollywood, Century City and Malibu. The first two "Transformers" movies were also shot heavily in Southern California, filming numerous scenes downtown and at Edwards Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert.

"Mike, [producer] Lorenzo [di Bonaventura] and I are all big fans of trying to keep as much of our production in L.A. as possible," said Bay's producing partner, Ian Bryce. "It's a big movie. All our stage work is being done here."

In all, six weeks of the 4 1/2 months of shooting will occur in the L.A. area, with the rest of the filming spread across Chicago, Detroit, Washington and Cape Canaveral, Fla., and a few foreign locales, including Russia and an undisclosed African country, Bryce said.

Bryce said the science-fiction action movie starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Patrick Dempsey required more diverse locations than L.A. could offer, and also cited the advantages of "very attractive rebates" offered in Michigan and Illinois, which will also host the production for six weeks.

The picture, with an estimated production budget of at least $200 million and a local crew of nearly 500, would not qualify for California's new film incentive program, which is limited to movies with budgets of up to $75 million."

This new assortment will include a repack of Battle Blade Bumblebee (pictured) plus Electrostatic Jolt, Tomahawk and Terradive. As yet no pictures are available so we're still none the wiser to who or what Tomahawk and Terradive are, although Electrostatic Jolt will be a redeco of Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Jolt.
