The issue is though that Wages have stagnated for even longer than 2005 and cost of living has gone up. The "real" cost of Marvel Legends in light of that, in terms of what the average not very well off person can afford, has tripled if not more in some cases due to how hard it can be to find them not at scalper/speciality store prices.

America, made Red Guardian, a red and a blue Angel, Messiah war Cable, Classic Bucky, Abomination, Bucky Capt. America, Classic Task Master, a re-do on modern Bucky, and Secret Wars Capt America just need to get a clear shield. Vort will take to long and the only other option would be to order the Ultimate box set. Man a lot of money for his clear shield.

My favorite is going on a 6 inch thread like the current 6 inch GI Joe thread at Hisstank and saying something like “Hasbro could make both 4 and 6 inch figure if they wanted...” It usually drives the 6 inchers crazy. They say things like “4 inch figures are for kids or Hasbro would be stupid to ever make 4 inch figures because we all know 6 inch figures are more profitable!” Then they drink a big ol glass of Hasbro Kool Aide...

AFAIK there could be issues with the likenesses for toys(though that oculd have been signed over somehow) but they often put out "generic" comic influenced sets to coincide. It'd really make a lot of sense to have a semi comic-accurate Demon Bear playset.
