The backgrounds are just poster boards I got at Walmart for like $2-3 a piece.

As for the lights, they're lamps I got with my green screen.

I did this tonight and Nat is no longer in need of a posture collar. Just be sure to keep moving the neck as it dries, otherwise, you could end up with a stuck joint.

I can definitely do something as simple as glue. It's when you get to other things that I don't have the skills for (such as drilling and painting).

I wasn’t originally planning on getting anything from the Infinity Wave, other than Taskmaster and Songbird, which I ordered online. Since the figures were being released today, I headed down to the local Walmart where the guy had given me a hard time saying they couldn’t be sold until the 3rd, even though they were already being sold from that store. Sure enough I get there at 7:30 this morning and they are sold out.

I headed out to another Walmart that I rarely visit and didn’t see any, but an employee from a different section was nice enough to check the back and came out with a brand new case. After seeing them in person I grabbed King Cobra and Iron Man, which I think can easily pass as a comic version.

After getting King Cobra and Proxima, an early morning Walmart run and I'm done with Infinity wave 1.

Ebay or Amazon might have him, but I believe he is pricey which is why I haven't pulled the trigger on him, Be nice if Hasbro re-released him here sometime soon.

kylactus 03-03-2018 08:40 AM

I think the EU iron man is just a repaint of the Iron monger wave bleeding edge armor. The original is shiner and doesn’t have the tony head.

What are your thoughts on the X-Men wave Deadpool vs the Deadpool Wave figure? I almost bought the X-Men wave figure, but I held off and ordered the classic figure, but it hasn’t arrived yet.

Well now that the SW/Vision 2-pack is out of stock on TRU's website, I can almost guarantee I'm never going to see it for retail price ever again.

Augustus_Cole 03-03-2018 10:09 AM

Finally...a successful hunt of a morning.
feel good to finally have some figs in hand...cause you know a lot of us are impatient A.F.

found both riders and the entire infinity wave.
and i'm so proud of me...i've actually been saving loot just for all these damn figs..so i used my allowance to buy it all. I'm such a big boy.

Now that the IW wave 1 is hitting, I am hoping (in vain of course) that we'll start seeing reports of the X-wave being found. I know, "Fall", and July at earliest but I have no patience when it comes to waiting on the X-waves.....

I’m not messing around when it comes to the X-Men wave, I’m gonna pre order that as soon as I can.

Black Arbor 03-03-2018 11:12 AM

On the incredibly off chance anyone still needs figures from the Sandman BAF wave, it seems a lot of Walgreens (at least ones in my area) are getting full cases of it, grab 'em now while they're 12.99!

Augustus_Cole 03-03-2018 11:32 AM

if anyone sees the Paladin figure (especially at a sale price) and can grab it (or multiples of it) lemme know.

As excited for the X wave as I am, I'd rather it not come out until after I get the current waves I need and have time to recoup some money.

No problem glad to help.

Tarooster 03-03-2018 12:42 PM

Just scored Thanos Wal-Mart was waiting for today to stock. They had the bikers and remnants of the wave as well.

Now I just need my wants left from the Spidey and deadpool waves. Noir Spidey, Mysterio, Cable, X23, and X Force Deadpool mostly.

I like the Deadpool Wave Redpool much better. Something about the comic book bright red that really does it. It feels how a comic figure should be, with bright over the top colors.

I am still a bit upset that Hasbro didn't give more weapon options. There was almost zero reasons for it. Maybe give alternative straps with guns and so on. It really felt as if Hasbro gave the fans the middle finger.

But I am still happy. Since I got that Deadpool Wave Redpool, I cannot stop looking at it. It so eye catching and might be my fav deadpool figure ever. The color pops..and my eyes are constantly being drawn to it.

Robb 03-03-2018 01:49 PM

Well it took about 20 minutes or so but someone at walmart found me the bikes and thanos. The first guy went back and looked and said he could not find it but the other guy who has been there a while and I think some type of floor supervisor went back and found them. I struck out on Reed while on sale, I could not find him at 3 different walgreens.

If you sleep with it like a teddy bear then maybe you might wanna worry. Haha ;)

That’s great to hear, I’m glad waited and now I can’t for mine to come in. I never noticed it before, but is the X-Men wave Deadpool supposed to be a movie version or just a more modern comic version? I’m definitely more of a fan of the older “Spider-Man” looking mask, rather than the newer loose sock design.

You’re not the only one. I haven’t seen or heard of a Reed in my area yet. There are tons of Walgreens around and I’ve been checking most of them.

So that's why I found a Green Goblin at one of my local Walgreens after not finding him in stores for months.

Recent comics one, specifically the Marvel NOW! (2012, not 2016) costume that he's been wearing for the past 6 years.

Thanks for the info! It’s a great looking figure, and the accessories are crazy, but that new one is so nostalgic ;-)

DarthKamen 03-03-2018 03:08 PM

I like the "sock" look more for his mask and the longer katana on the NOW Pool but the more sleek and agile body on the 90s is much more fitting for him IMO. Still want a movie Deadpool though.

Got my Old Man Logan today! Just another week and I should have my head cast.

Tomax 03-03-2018 03:11 PM

i wanna see a compare pic or video of diamond/thanos and legends/thanos...
