Has anyone got a measurement for the height of BAF MCU Thanos? I'm thinking of potentially not getting all of the wave and getting the Figuarts Thanos instead, as it seems to be roughly in the right height range, if a tad small, while the BAF Thanos seems a bit big.

Cheers to everyone finding Infinity War figures today! I buy online so often that the hunt is a rare and beautiful thing. So glad to have a Proxima Midnight figure. Still prefer her svelte look from the comics, but thiccccc girls need love, too! She's taller than I was expecting. Booo @ no Corvus Glaive in wave one or two, though.

Loving thicc-ness is my sickness, ya'll, and I hope there is no cure. https://media1.giphy.com/media/x6sfBlcbXW7kc/giphy.gif And you're right, I should wait for the full armored splendor because that's going to be so much cooler. Damn it. One whole year, though. Hnng. |

https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4760/2...e33ff665_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4653/2...b226aaef_b.jpg On Wednesday night I went to a local Walmart that brickseek said had Thanos and while the manager confirmed they had them he said they were honoring the March 3rd street date so I had to wait and come back when they opened on Saturday. I went in this morning and sure enough the manager went to the back and came out with both the Thanos case and the Infinity War case so I went ahead and picked up Songbird too. Thanos is pretty freaking great except for some notable weaknesses carried over from the original BAF. His legs are very limited in movement by the belt piece and his ab crunch is particularly loose, like Thanos can very easily headbang (to Death metal obviously ;)). He looks great though, I think the repaint is in every way superior to the BAF. I love the shiny blue and that the boots are all yellow/gold this time. The head sculpts are both on point and at first I felt the purple for his skin was too dark but in hand I think it's perfectly fine. I appreciate the inclusion of the Infinity Gauntlet even though it feels wrong having a modern designed Thanos using it. His regular left hand can hold the cosmic cube (mine's from the GotG boxset but I'd assume they're all the same) so that's neat. I still ultimately prefer the Select Thanos since that is his proper classic look but for a modern, slightly more articulated Thanos figure that is closer to the proper scale I find it hard not to recommend this guy if you can grab him. Songbird is another cool figure for the growing women of Marvel collection that stands out thanks to strong, bright colors and a very cool wing piece. Definitely also nice to get another Thunderbolts mainstay and at the same time another less than well-known character. As a toy my con would have to be that as is expected with white paint over dark plastic there's some sloppiness to certain areas. On the pros side of things though the face and hair came out great and the armor doesn't really get in the way of articulation all that much by design. Fellow Songbird fans rejoice but then also the figure's display presence I think is enough for everyone else to also consider getting one. |

Just won a Hasbro BAF Onslaught, with the Magneto helmet! Really excited, I’ve been wanting this figure for a while.

Now I’m even more excited to get that next X-Men wave, although I suppose I would be better off with a stupid savage bone claw Wolverine, haha. |
