Like the one from the Hit Monkey wave or was there an all black outfit? I’m definitely not a fan of the bone claw/bandana Wolverine, but I know I’ll buy it when it comes out lol.

Posted this in the Baf exchange thread but I’ll post it here too If anyone wants to part with their Thanos parts hit me up I’ll take them off your hands I also need the wing parts that came with Both spiderman figures. Also looking for the Movie Ultron parts I have a lot to trade Just PM me.

Nostalgic 03-03-2018 08:23 PM

How is the Terrax BAF? That one is high on my wish list and I may start actively looking for one.

There were two actually, the Hit Monkey wave one (which I don't have because Hit Monkey was lame as a BAF) and a black outfit variant of the one in the Red Hulk series (which I do have because Red Hulk as a BAF is NOT lame lol). But essentially the same, yes, you get the gist.

Yeah the noseless bandana Wolverine is not a favored look, but you know eventually they'll get around to it. We should actually make a list of probable/potential Wolverine versions, I'm sure there's dozens they could choose from. New X-Men Leather Jacket look, FA Look, Black X-Force look are the most likely next ones to me. Unless of course he pops up with something very different soon, which they might want to maximize on.

Edit: you know what look I'd REALLY like? When he was Death of the Horsemen of Apocalypse in the late 90's. Granted he looks NOTHING like Wolverine there, but still...it would be a "Wolverine". Will never happen though.

Sadly like how i like and i can't even tell you how many spider-man figures, i will most likely grab quite a few differnt versions of wolverine.

It is, just came out better with the brighter colors & better un-helmeted Stark head than the cartoony version that just came out.

so listen...the metal on the motor.. around where his legs are looks very cheep and cheesy..
would it make sense to paint that all black (the silver parts)
then dry brush chrome (thnx Klyactus) back on heavily??

I hope tiger stripe wolverine comes with a first appearance mask and If they’re planning to get back to milkin the wolverine tit I wish they’d do weapon-x, team x, and patch. But ultimately yeah, I’m a wolverine sucker and I’ll buy them all...

I was looking at the recent colossus today, the one with the big arrow pointing at his junk, and my first thought was, I wish he had the classic costume... then I realized I’d rather have him in jeans and wife beater like he wore in the 90’s show. And at some point (after we get a 90’s beast, gambit, night crawler, professor x,and all of x force and factor) we need to get a powered down peter.

I bought one off ebay back in 2016 and shipped him back for a refund. Not only were his joints extremely loose, but his right leg had broken off during shipping.

Now any of that was the seller's fault, but the loose joints really ruined my desire to pay anywhere close to $50 for another one.

If you can disassemble it, take all the metal parts off and spray paint them chrome.

So why does Hasbro Toy SHop tell you they have something in stock, but when you click on Add to Cart it says there is insufficient stock? Shouldn't the listing be taken down if it isn't available? Or say it is unavailable?

I think it's because it probably just happened, so if you give it a couple of minutes, the product page will end up saying out of stock. Speaking of HTS, they have the riders up there if anyone's interested:

i forgot who mentioned this before and i'm way too lazy to go back looking.
But the Widow on bike does feel like you're not getting as much for your money as the Ghost Rider.
She's sorta basic, with the one extra head...and you can find bikes like that for 10.00.
Now the Ghost Rider ..it seem like a lot went into him. The bike is nice, all the flames, the removable skull piece on the bike, the new skull(head) on the rider, his hinged jaw, his fiery chain, the translucent wheels.
now this one is worth 40.00.
I wonder do they balance that out "across a wave".
Like..budgeting was for the two of them together at the same time..so one may get more.
Kinda like that 90's deadpool that came with only 2 Little swords.

That really sucks! It looks like such a nice figure, but that would really ruin it, especially for the price they go for. Anyone build one new and did it have the same issues?

Artic 66 03-04-2018 06:48 AM

Has anyone tried these heads from eBay?
They look like the socket in them is fine, but it’s hard to tell from a photo. I’m also concerned about the plastic quality and how close the mold comes out to the original.

To chime in on the Terrax thing. I got mine when he came out, never had a problem. I recently found one for a friend too, no issues. One arm on mine is a little loose, but nothing to write home about. Sorry to see you are having issues with him.

That would be one method, though I would be careful using chrome paints, as they tend to flake. I'd use a simple silver or gunmetal gloss for the drybrushing. If you want the parts to shine a bit brighter, use a glossy paint for the drybrushing. I did this with that awful redo of the ball and chain that came out with Absorbing Man, and was able to get a pretty good match to his metallic skin.

Those heads work fine. The plastic is a little different from other head casts out there, as most casters tend to cast in resin. A warning, you will more than likely need to use a dremel for the head socket, because remember, a cast is a COPY of the original mold, and is never perfect. I have yet to get a head cast from anyone that hasn't required this. Also...that's not Captain America...that's Tom Holland. Chinabay I tell you...

I picked up the Liefeld Deadpool yesterday from a local toy expo...and he has me eating crow. I like him WAY better than Taco-Pool, and honestly, he's my favorite figure of the year, and I'm not even a DP fan. Like someone mentioned earlier, the colors pop, the paints on mine were super clean and crisp, and I really dig the matte finish. The mask is sinister and menacing, and without that ridiculous doop on back. The Sunfire body mold was a good choice, I even like his tiny swords. The only flaws I can see are nitpick(s) really...and that's the lack of guns (thank goodness I've stockpiled over the years) and the lack of a BAF piece. X-Force DP should have been the one released without a BAF part.

I want to get another Invisible Woman and repaint her arm to be more opaque but I'm not sure what paint would match for her. Any suggestions?

Good to see there doesn’t seem to be a common issue with them. It’s such a great looking figure, but it is pricey. I should have some overtime tomorrow, so let the hunt begin!

Dr Kain 03-04-2018 09:13 AM

Darklord, that picture of GR looks awesome with your diorama.

Then ever time I go there they must have just run out of stock on the figures from the Sasquatch wave since it's happening 6 out of 6 times between yesterday and right now.

If anyone is in the middle TN area and wants a Civil War Scarlet Witch, TRU in Murfreesboro has one in their Marvel aisle.
