Purchased Iron Man as well. Considering that Black Widow for the cool motorbike.

Agree, wave 2 of something is always harder to find than wave 1. Even GOTG wave 2 which was probably the easiest to find second wave of something I've seen in a long time, definitely wasn't around as much as wave 1.

Looking for Thanos is killing me. I really hope I get him before Infinity War comes out. I went to like 5 Walmarts this weekend.
I was also disappointed to find that one of my local TRU's said they weren't putting out the Infinity War wave until Saturday, but when I went for opening on Saturday, I was told that they put everything out Friday night and someone picked up EVERY figure in their 3 cases they put out.

Stuff like that posses me off. When,i found the infinity wave at walmart it was on the top shelf, so after I grabbed what I wanted I stocked the rest on the pegsfor everyone else.

I’m looking into getting a red costume Daredevil. I see there is the Hobgoblin series, which is dark red with lighter trim, and the SDCC series, which is bright red with darker trim. Which would you say is more accurate to the comics? I was never a huge Daredevil reader, although I’m absolutely loving the current book.

That’s a load of crap. I have no issue with someone grabbing a whole case for their own collection, but buying 3 cases is only for one purpose. What a dirtbag.

I just completed my movie Thanos, anyone else having an issue where the arms don't snap into the torso piece very tightly? Past BAFs have locked the limbs in tight enough that I thought they would never come out, but Thanos has his arms come loose with only slight pressure.

I think you're referring to the DD in the Defenders 4 pack, which is an Amazon exclusive (which is my preferred DD)

If I had to choose one version, and DD is the character in question, I'd say go with the Hobgoblin wave. The Defenders boxset version of DD was a hodgepodge of QC issues and was easily my least favorite figure in the set when I reviewed it here a while back. The plastic quality was all over the place, and were not all casted in the same color plastic. Some parts were dull and flat finished, while others were super smooth and shiny. He's distracting to look at, and not for the right reasons.

If anything on the positive, the DD from the Defenders wave does represent a good value, as you're getting three other characters along with it, with one of them being a superior redo of a character that was previously only an SDCC release (Luke Cage) who still commands a high secondary market price. The Hobgoblin wave version though has thankfully dropped a bit in price since the release of the Defenders version though, so it won't set you back either. I'd take that one any day.

Of course, your other option is to wait it out for the Shadowland DD come out later this year in a future Spider-Man wave.

That’s good info, thanks! While I like the Defenders version color scheme a little better, it’s not enough to make up for quality issues, so that helps my choice for sure. I do also plan on getting the new Shadowland version, I love the way it looks from the pictures.

No issues with his right arm, but the left is pretty bad. I like how smooth the limbs move and hold their poses, but apply a little pressure to his left arm and it pops right out...

The different colored plastic issue was something that was also brought up by a lot of different reviewers online. It might be tough to notice in photos, but you can spot in hand pretty quickly. You can at least see the mismatched plastics in this photo here, where the legs have a really bright and shiny finish up the upper thigh, only to suddenly go dull on the legs. It's also most noticeable on the upper body, with the torso and arms having differences in color and finish.

Im sick of retail never stocking their muthaf%*kin' shelves. One failmart by me stocked one infinity war wave one time and now nothing. Tru is sittin on redslaught, manthing and mantis wave remnants. I mean the toy aisles are skeltons except for lanard shit, rogue one and zuvio figs, new 52 dooms day crap figs and random other garbage thats been hanging for 6-12 plus months.

You forgot the sad WWE offerings of entire pegs of nothing but basic Dolph Zigglers (please go away!) and Kevin Owens figures. I haven't seen a new wave of Elites in months, outside of the Lonely Virgil figure that is a TRU exclusive.

I'd post some pics of what my Walmarts have looked like as of late, but I'm afraid of some of you hanging yourselves out of anger or depression...or both.

Funny thing...it's always the "boys" aisle that looks like this. Walk through a Lego, Girls, or Toddler aisle, and I'll bet you ANYTHING they are well stocked and kept.

All of this talk about repainting the bikes recently had me going back and touching up some of the parts to Widow's bike. Just a simple silver drybrush over the engine parts, chains and calipers. Went a little bit heavy handed on the engine parts, but I wanted a more chrome appearance, and I like how it all came out overall. May go back and touch up some of the other details (such as that awful unpainted gas cap) but I'm wondering if it'll be worth the effort to begin with, since I wasn't really impressed with the bike all that much and don't plan on using it a bunch.

Man, my morning was disappointing.

Yesterday I started properly searching for the Lizard wave, as the Targets in my area are starting to get it. I went to the one I recently worked at, a 10-minute walk away, that according to Brickseek said they had it, but by the time I got there they only had one Gwenpool, so I was gonna wait on her until I noticed that Spider-Man Legends figures are on sale for $12.29 until the 10th, so I got her.

After that I went to a different one near me that Brickseek said had some, but when I got there at 4 they said they were out; however, they were also having connection issues with their Zebras, so I called an hour after figuring they might have solved those issues. The guy who picked up didn't really know much about collectibles, so he talked to another team member about it who I guess was supposed to be their collectible-savvy guy, and he said they had a whole case, and that it wasn't supposed to go on the floor until today, so he suggested I come in the next morning.

So today I got up at 7:30 AM (very early for me), excited cause I thought I was about to score the whole wave for $12.29 a pop, got over there, and asked about it, and he told me they had none. We checked the further info on his Zebra, and it said the last sold was yesterday, about 2 hours before I actually got there. Incredibly disappointing.

Fortunately, the LOD who talked to me today showed me on the Zebra that they are scheduled to get another case on the 10th, the last day of the sale, so if I don't manage to find the other figures before then, I at least likely have that (if someone doesn't buy it before me again).

(Man, I didn't realize how this story was going to be.)
