Well we did just have a school massacre 2 weeks ago here. Im sure you saw it on the news. It's here in my county and it just hit close to home.

No i didn't go there. It's just close to home considering it happened in my county where i live. Just scary it happened.

Made a quick Yelena BlackWidow for my big Thunderbolts shot- Yelena on the Thunderbolts? Yeah- it happened very briefly. Originally when she showed up it was Natasha in disguise- but then the real Yelena was brought on- unfortunately the creative team changed at that point and the story went elsewhere with the Yelena thread being dropped entirely... But that's good enough for me.Especially since the T-Bolts action figure line-up is really light on female characters (Songbird, moonstone, and Satana are it) (I don't consider that Punisher/Rulk/Elektra lineup to be a real ThunderBolts team- that shit was terrible)

She looks awesome! I remember her on the T-Bolts well. May I asked what you used to make her? I have a Winter Solider version of Black Widow and I painted her hair blonde and she's my stand in for Yelena for now.

Great looking kit bash there. May I ask what the formula was? I see MJ, a bit of vintage Widow, though I can't figure out the hair and bottom torso. That bottom torso's flesh tones look so smooth and perfect...

Thanks guys- She's pretty easy. It's about 99% the carded BW throwback figure- just painted her lower torso. (easiest way for smooth flesh tone -if you don't airbrush- just use very thin paint, consistency of milk is what i was always told- cover the part, let it dry, dab on another coat as necessary and let it dry- by the second coat I like to keep moving the part around and blow drying a bit to keep a drip mark from building up) The Hair, buckle,grenades and stingers I took off the old Marvel Select Yelena figure. :)
(and I sculpted the zipper on the upper torso using greenstuff- )

^^ Great job on that flesh tone. White paint and Caucasian flesh tones are the bane of my customization abilities. I can never get them to come out quite the way I want them.

I was able to nab Mr. Fantastic yesterday and he lives up to his namesake. I really like the choice of body mold that they went with, as well as the expression on his face. He can strike some great thinking poses with it, as well as gives him an air of intellectual arrogance. Reusing the stretchy arms from the old Mr.F was a good choice as well (BENDY WIRE!) and they pop on and off really easy and stay there. He can even stand with them, which is a huge plus. Paints were also super crisp on mine, though the eyes seem fuzzy to me, so that's something to look out for.

He also bears a slight resemblance to George Clooney, which has me wondering if it's a subtle hint for when the next FF movie reboot happens.

Look at it closer, it's the exact same hand that is the one in the bubble. Death'shead 2 has a fist and a pointing hand.

Then the gauntlet on the wrist is a matching blue and not gold like both should be.

If someone resealed that they deserve a medal or found a way in that doesn't disturb the tape. Even then what exactly did they do to get another correct hand and a wrong colored gauntlet?

yeah- I know everybody is supposed to hate on this BAF- but I really like him!

Its definitely swappwed with something. I may have been wrong about twhos hand it was but at first glance i looked like deathshead, though looking closer you are right its not so im at a loss to explain whos it is.

Replacing tape is easy to do. In my retail days i saw plenty of swapped stuff that looked legitimately sealed. Either way its just sad.

It looks like they did a great job on the BAF, I just think the outfit is silly. That’s on the movie though, not Hasbro’s fault. Either way that picture came out awesome!

I would really just like to get Sasquatch but I can't find any of that wave.

So i try to do a brick seek search,according to the site a walmart near my job has 6 thanos in stock. So i venture to this wal mart. It was by no means a hop,skip and jump away but it wasn't too far either. So i take my lunch break and venture out there, finally i get there and start making my way to the front. One of the dumbest looking employees comes out and screams to everyone " WE CAN'T LET ANYONE IN !" I immediately ask "why?" His response... "THE ENTIRE CITY'S POWER IS OUT!" Needless to say i was pissed. Wasted my break and gas for this. What is the luck of that happening??

Oh well... back to the drawing board.
