So I went to Hellmart today to pick up Thor Ragnarok since Amazon/Disney can't get their shit together on blurays. Same one I found the entire wave at last week - they had nothing but black panther. Literally. Not a single legend that wasnt from the black panther wave. No display, no nothing. I asked where they were displaying their legends for Infinity War (and pointed to the legends on the peg indicating they are similar but not quite the same) and got a blank stare for my trouble.

Things like this are why i'm not doing a damned thing to go out of my way to look for anything of late. If I'm in a store for something else sure I'll run by the section to see what they have, but I have better things to do than embark on voyages of disappointment. There is no thrill in the hunt any more.

I’m feeling the same way out here. Brickseek says there are figures in stores all around me, but no one in the store can tell me where they are. Target, Walgreens, Walmart, Toysrus...nothing. I just want to score a Mysterio at retail...maybe patience is the solution. Seeing all of you with pegs full of the new waves isn’t helping.

So Gemma Chan is playing Doctor Minerva in the Captain Marvel film. It occurs to me that if Hasbro puts out a comic Minerva figure for the Captain Marvel Legends wave next year, it'd be easy enough to reuse to make a Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel as well.

I loves me some Legends...and i'm all for different figures of diff characters n' stuff...and i do like them...BUT...
to me, this is one non-exciting/underwhelming wave we got here..

TRU came through and I got my Lasher today! I was worried they would cancel my order or something. It was packaged like crap, but arrived unharmed.

I admit I almost broke down and paid big money for Lasher and Mysterio, but the effort paid off and I found them both for regular price.

Haven’t opened it yet, but it looks really cool. I know Scream is coming soon, so now I hope they make all five.

Thanks DTL- that store certainly looks like a dumping ground for people trying to clear the unwanted inventory fin their store to get re- orders of new stuff.

So is that why I never saw Moon Knight anywhere and got him via Amazon?


I'm a little disappointed, today is the first day in about two months I could finally get out and do some shopping/hunting, hoping to get Vibranium Panther and Thanos, but even using brickseek, came up empty handed (and rather shocked at how empty Walmart shelves are not just for ML, but in general) and even at a TRU to see if they had the Wanda/Vision two-pack (ha!)

On the plus side, after hitting a few stores and finding zip, I did see Black Panther finally. That was fun.

I always have terrible luck when it comes to Toys R Us exclusives in-store.

So a thought just came to my mind....why are so many of the A-list comic book Marvel villains lacking decent figure representation (outside of Spider-Man's rogues)? The entire Brotherhood as a collective has yet to receive a good action figure (outside of Blob and maybe Pyro, who's only 'decent'). Dr. Doom's figures all kinda suck for different reasons. Same with Red Skull. We had one decent figure for Loki, but it's a look that's so specific to a certain storyline that you almost can't fit in anywhere on your shelf. They didn't even attempt a Mephisto yet; we had to hop on over to Diamond Select for that and now he's selling for astronomical prices on eBay.


I mean, we get great figures for B-list and C-list villains all the time, but when it comes to receiving a Dr. Doom that's at least "passable" in a modern collection, forget about it.

At least the new Thanos figure is pretty good.

I like it. Havent even opened or set mine up yet. I think that gwenpool and spiderwoman with the new outfit were two wasted slots for better characters.

By the way guys, After closer examination of my death's head II figure and his hands neither were the same as that thanos picture someone posted a few days ago.

That could have been a factory screw up there.

Well so much for my Walmart not selling their Thanos until their reset. I went there yesterday and there were none under the price tag. When I asked the dude, he said, "Oh, we were told we could sell those off over the weekend when a guy came in to buy the entire case." -_-

Have Marvel ever given us a character who's a vigilante who takes particular issue with scalpers? 'Scalperhunter' or 'Scalpunisher' would seem an appropriate name, I suppose. Or maybe a team... 'Karma Police' or 'Jerkbusters'?

Give me a 4 issue limited series under the MAX imprint with some truly gratifying scenes. Just don't make any toys of them as I think the universe might implode with the irony...

Just messed up my bid on an eBay auction. Meant to bid $36.05 but bid 3605 by accident lol. Luckily I didn’t end up paying too much more than I wanted.

It would be nice if they would prevent stuff like that. A whole case of the same figure and the employees don’t care or think it’s odd?
