I was able to put in an order for the Scarlet Witch/Vision 2-pack but we'll see if TRU actually fulfills it.

ZOMG! I thought the 6 I have were excessive... I've looked for the evidence of this being a photoshop job (e.g. repetition) but can't find it. Anyone? Bueller?

Now I know some people can't stand soft goods on their figures, but I thought this thing turned out so well, he's keeping it. That plastic, ill fitting, junk that Hasbro gave us can go into the fodder bin. It definitely covers up some of my gripes, and I really like this version of Hobie MUCH more now...

Now I just need to get her to do one for Moon Knight...lol.

Looks great! I think MK might be a bit more of a challenge though, finding the right kind of material to look good in white. Keep us posted!

Toys R Us shipped out my Scarlet Witch/Vision so I'm good on that front. Also expecting Gwenpool soon.

Also expecting a new job in two weeks :)

I picture the conversation like this:
" ya know boss i really think you need your helmet."-proxima
No i dont I'm........hey did you hear something?" -space homer aka Thanos
"Bwahahahaha he does look like a purple homer simpson"- familiar voice

Grabbing thor by the throat thanos screams - "WHY YOU LITTLE.....!"
Thor making choking noises.
Proxima-"THANOS!"
Thanos-"D'oh. .....Aw crap!"

I just finished it last night. I liked it. The overall flow and narrative felt on par but then the treatment of side characters and b-plots felt a lot better to me. It's hard to follow up David Tennant's Kilgrave since he was so damn entertaining but without going into details I think season 2's villain is a good "next place to go" for the show.

Can't believe what I'm going to say, but I think that MCU thanos is growing on me lol

DarthKamen 03-12-2018 03:47 PM

I've always liked him, but I think anything would look great in that set. Permission to stea- I mean borrow the idea?

Kirathis 03-12-2018 03:48 PM

@Bo Ttef
NICE job on the dio! It works quite well for a spaceship hallway.

Yeah these are great. I will be getting that guy in the middle the first chance I can when the pre-release him

Bearjew 03-12-2018 06:16 PM

I am really frustrated right now as a collector. I get aggravated with this garbage every year. NOTHING IS AVAILABLE!! I can't find anything anywhere except for some garbage items sprinkled around. I think though that these will be very available later this year as everything piles up. It amazes me that we can get numerous waves and nothing sticks. It frustrates me to no end.
I am not one who gets every wave but when there is a wave I would REALLY like to get, I can forget finding them anywhere.
I guess they will trickle out later but it is frustrating now.

Barefootabe 03-12-2018 06:31 PM

Nice cape :D! that's much much better

I'm 11 episodes into it thus far and it's way better than Season 1. The plots and conspiracies are far more interesting and I haven't felt bored out of mind like I did with the first season. To be fair though, it could be that I knew what I was walking into this season compared to the last, so I'm thinking I really need to rewatch the first season at some point. Then again, I really need to rewatch all of the series again, but I'm holding off until they do a nice big Blu-Ray box set or something.

kylactus 03-12-2018 06:46 PM

I’m on episode 12, I’m liking it so far. I like the Events in the Netflix shows staying kind of low key, where as in AOS there are world threatening events all the time and I can’t help but think, why don’t they just call the Avengers? But the whole “street level” thing really works. JJ still comes off as a bit too overly emotional for me but the show still flows well. I always binge watch the Netflix stuff and I think it’s written to be a weekly thing so the time lapses get confusing sometimes...that and I’m drugged like a circus elephant so that might have something to do with it. Anyway, my hopes for the next Netflix wave:
1.Luke cage, do the hoodie thing they did with home made suit movie Spider-Man
2.Iron fist, lots of swapable hands
3.kilgrave
4.cottonmouth, hydra power suit
5.Wizzer
6.King pin

En Sabah Nerd 03-12-2018 07:46 PM

Earlier today I checked out my local Target, TRU, and Gamestop. No signs of anything new except for seeing more of the Infinity War wave, hopefully the Spider-Man and Deadpool waves land soon.
