And of course, they made her new power extra stupid to go with her personality- if they wanted to make her interesting they should have made her turn into a hideous monster that was super strong and tough, not a bling maniquen.

Hated that X-Men run- I read it for free at the library and I still want a refund!

That's Grant Morrison for you...I agree with you too, and they barely gave it to a handful of the X-Men. Heck artists are starting to draw Beast back to his more Beast like state instead of the feline look he supposedly received from the second mutation. Glad they stopped doing that...

It was cool to learn about about an Arkers past, but didnt really fit into the story. It came off pretty much like a self plug. :)

Hopefully everyone can talk toys and have some fun now! :)

Just history Arnim Brola.

Because that's what all this is about, history.

Gimme 70s-90s beast all day long! :thumbs Wish they would have made the MU beast the classic Avengers version (or at least made a variant)

I am so damn excited for the MoE 3 pack. Hopefully Canada Post does their job and sends it out right away for it gets to me in less than a week =3.

We greatly apologize but we are in the process of moving into a much
larger warehouse location. In the process several of pallets of
inventory were damaged beyond salvation. The bag head spiderman lot was
one of those items. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience but we had
no other choice but to cancel and fully refund your order.

I finally got a shocker and two other figs courtesy of Shortsben. Howevor, my question to you guys, which im kinda conflicted on: MOC or open. Since he is impossible to find in the states, he is by definition rare here. On the other hand, it makes my spidey rogues gallery complete until Mysterio shows up and I can make a cool setup

And to answer TheDubs question on who my worst fav. character is, i'll keep that to myself cause it'll probably cause an uproar.

Open it. While he may be "rare", he's still inexpensive.

Imagine you were looking that illusive 'insert one of your grail figures akin to moc solid Vision here' and some dude had army built them to be minions of Ultron. I'd be a little angy about that myself but we'd at least know for a fact that he is army building instead of potentially scalping. you seem like a cool arker so don't take this personally, as it isn't intended that way and you can ask anyone here I don't do that. However it just seems like you came at his neck for an opinion different than yours on his personal blog.

personally I prefer Shock's petition to engage here first but I fear when you jump on him like this it might be hard to feel welcome. I'm not in anyway judging your or your motives just saying

welcome, interesting blog. I hope that as you engage here you will feel welcome and word of caution to add with what others have said if you just post links and bounce the mods won't have it and you can expect a less than inviting environment as we appreciate interaction :D

KL, I totally understand your point of view. No offense taken. He caught me on a bad day and I really just hate whining. It also irritated me a bit that he was trying to re-direct traffic to his blog rather than just posting on the forum. Anyways, it's water under the bridge. Even when I was done writing it, I realized that I needed to chill out too. I just needed to vent, I guess.

SquirtleSquad7 08-31-2012 12:23 PM

I'd say open it.. If they're inexpensive, then I don't see why not. My view is, the only way I'll keep something MOC is if it'll be special down the line.. Toys aren't enjoyable to me when they're still in their plastic cell. Then again, I'm not a MOC collector, so I wouldn't get the MOC mindset.

KungfuGrip 08-31-2012 12:24 PM

WalkingDP again your pics are off the chain, the team themes etc. are sick I can tell you put a lot of imagination into the displays, keep um coming bro.

Oh and yes let's please stay on topic, I've been on this board for a short time but feel like I known some of you for ages cuz u peeps are just cool like that. I come here to see these awesome pics, talk about these toys and network to help eachother with the "hunt" etc. and it annoys the ish outa me when I gotta scroll through 2 pages of silly E-drama. My opinion is keep on topic do your thang don't worry bout other peeps biz and save the drama for and take it to FB, this aint the place. No hate just my 2 penny's ... Love ya all :)

bmorr 08-31-2012 12:29 PM

Funny thing is the E-drama has been a staple to this thread, one crap page than its back to normal. Onward to page 1600!

I wish I could stop hunting. Multiple times this week I've been walking into a store and saying, "What exactly are you going to do if they have good stuff? You have all these already!"

Which is to say that I'm basically hunting for my Arker friends, which just means I'm spending money to hunt...

Thanks!

Kang stands out because he's a pure, and weird, Avengers villain. Most Avengers villains are also villains to other people too. Plus Kang is basically a Lord of time (not timelord, lol), which means he actually rules everything in existence for certain distant periods of time. Pretty amazing. He's got tech and time travel ability all the time, and he lives all over the timestream. I love him for being weird and hard to fully comprehend.

I actually hate that figure. The dark body and terrible head screws up the whole effect. The body should be more like the arms and legs and a new head should be cast to make this thing anywhere near good. Even though it's actually Toro, I like the Invaders Torch WAY better.

Yea, I was disappointed when I inquired about shipping information a week after ordering, only to hear that it takes 4-6 weeks to even make the cast, let alone ship.

The only thing I can see being the issue is getting back-logged on orders, and trying to group orders of the same pieces to make casting easier.

I don't know nearly enough about the casting process to call foul regarding the length of time, but I can say that I was unexpectedly disappointed after placing my order.

Too bad the casts look so good!

Meh, I don't see that as a dick move. If they're available to purchase, and the person has the money, why not? It results in a shitty collection, but I can't fault anyone for the directions they decide to go with it.

I met a guy who buys up all of one specific silver-age comic he can find, in the hopes of increasing the value of all of them by taking them off the market. I thought it was a bit nutty myself.

Because we appreciate the love he has for his collection/obsession. And we all hope that one day, Pete will give all his stuff to us for free... (lol Pete). Pete, sorry for throwing your name in this rant, but when I think of a ginormous collection, I think of you. You were the first person that came to mind, buddy. Sorry for putting you on the spot but I must say that I am so in love with your collection. One day, I tell myself... One day my collection will be like that.

Lol, don't worry about it dude. I hope no one hates me for collecting it all, but understand misplaced frustration completely. :)

Avengers 4 pack (Comic) w/ Loki, Hawkeye, New Hulk, Pointy head IM, $21

GotG 3 pack, $17

Grab 'em? Seven (and Groot) figures I don't have for less than $40 seems good eh?

I don't know. I've seen GotG 3-Packs go down to as low as $7, so I hate to pay more than $12 for them on clearance. I kind-of feel that if they're not moving at those prices now, they'll get reduced further, but that's a risk to take for sure. My WM Sentinels clearanced down to $40 and sat for weeks and one day disappeared. Couldn't tell if they got sent back or were clearanced down further and someone wiped them out...

Bah! I hate finding the remnants of a wave left behind. If you're going to wipe out the rest, just buy the last two also and return them elsewhere (I say, as if everyone has an extra $20 to float in returns for a week).

Lol. I like it. I like the idea of taking existing old stuff and turning it on it's ear. Nothing like that ever sticks, so why not change it up for awhile, I say.

Cat Beast is a nice change and is funny when you see him next to Dark Beast, who is still the old way. I don't think they even mentioned it, actually.

Diamond Emma is better than flesh emma. It'd be better if she was always diamond, though I don't think Scott would be sleeping with her nearly as much...

just get a second from Tiberius, then you don't have to worry about opening it, I got two for that very reason and my collecting has become insane, always have to get two now, because MOC is nice to have. However opening them is still where my heart is.

For instance I only had a crimson dynamo MOC until a couple weeks ago, then I finally got a second from evil bay for a great price, and man is that an amazing figure.

Perfect example of a figure that looks ok in the pkg, but then you actually get our hands on it, and it is way more awesome than it looked in the pkg.

I don't understand why the 3 from EE all didn't come at the same time, but all the cases are going to have X-Force DP I think...Damn, I wish I had known sooner. I'm selling them at cost: 16.99+S&H.
