The Jedi Survivor pack and Merrin shipped in a typical Amazon box but the Legends villains pack was just its own packaging with a shipping label slapped on the back (good thing porch pirates in my area don't give a shit about toys). Jada Chun Li was on clearance at Walmart because the box had serious water damage but the figure was perfectly fine inside. Ordered Hawkgirl from Gamestop (I ordered two so I could make sure I got the standard version). The metallic lenses aren't my preference for her mask and I like it when the boot stripes emulate hawk talons instead of being orthogonal but the wings are so good looking that it beats my minor gripes like a mace to the face. The F4 She-Hulk arrived from BBTS and then Target finally put the NECA Count back up on their site so I could order one. Much like Bert and Ernie he's phenomenal. The Count's head swaps much easier and the softgoods work put into the cape is great. I might have liked to see some more numbers than just '2' though, because I don't know who else they would really pack numbers with. |

Congrats ! That Valkyrie looks nice. Macross has a special place for me as well. I used to watch it on tv in the late 80s. But unlike many Macross fans, my favorite Macross series is not SDFM. It is Macross Zero.
My Top 4 is: 1- Macross Zero 2- Macross Frontier 3- Macross Plus 4- SDFM I hate Macross 7... It is an unwatchable mess and i haven't watched the rest. |
Macross 7 has issues, but I'll take it over Delta and Zero. Delta is total dogshit with its Wannabe Super Saiyan Sailor Guardians and Zero makes no sense whatsoever. The original is still the best though.
