Beers from Continental Europe are by far the best, Jackieboy. I prefer Czech lager myself, Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen and proper Budvar. Better than Budweiser, Miller, Coors and the likes

Danish,bavarian and czech beers are the only beer ill touch outside of a pint of guinness.i recommend the czech budweiser(the original),it comes in a silver can and is leagues above its american namesake.

i tried a couple of international beers at a beer-fest in berlin last year.a lot of it was hit and miss(more miss)and i always seemed to find myself drawn to a danish,german or czech beer tent.

I love the continent, I'd move there if I had the cash. There are so many Belgian beers, it'd be a shame to rule them all out due to a few poorer ones. Yeah, Czech Budweiser Budvar is fantastic. I went there for my birthday this year, had a fantastic time. Out and drink til 6am, come out and munch on a freshly made bavarian hotdog. Went to the shop in the morning and a can of lager was cheaper than a can of Coca-Cola, such a fantastic place

i developed an aquired taste as far as beer is concerned,but i will give new beers a try.
i could well be moving to mainland europe next year,my girlfriend is swedish and we have been talking about moving to her country.and even funnier still is that her dad is czech :) LOL,those bratwursts are tasty,did you try the foot long with a side dish of Sauerkraut???german cuisine is heavenly.
regarding the new format?its good that we have a few new threads to talk about other things,i just hope most of the old gang come back.

alternative army building buddy,some of the guys already had the skrulls and hydra armies going on.seen these going for about 1 dollar and i wanted to try something different and thought to myself that they would make a kick ass army so i bought whatever stock they had on the pegs,you should have seen the face on the lady at the register,that was priceless.
