If you just wanted the masked Scar for being a good predator on the AVP body then the upcoming youngblood from AVP will serve just as well. Scarface from Concrete Jungle is also cool (unless you don't dig his death-metal look) as a good use of the AVP body that isn't too colorful as to stand out (unless standing out is what you like in which case I can't recommend Clan Leader enough).

As for scar with the mask, isn't he just a celtic predator just with a different paint app ? I think he is bad ass, however i already got the celtic.

On another note my fiance ordered me the mantis and gorilla alien.

It's mainly that I just like Scar's armored look. Kinda like a Samurai Predator and Scarface sort of has that same look but with more of a Viking style. Plus I did (and still do) enjoy Concrete Jungle.

My spiked tail is missing the copper back piece for mounting his weapons.

Yeah I've also just settled with Celtic as my movie AVP figure, I dig his mask and he is less armored than Scar but still heavily armored compared to a standard predator.

I used to rely on their ebay store but shipping rates went up too much for heavier figures like Aliens and Predators so I seem to mostly use TRU's site now since they offer free shipping.

NECA's eBay shipping is costly...

I'm getting sick of having to send back Kenner Preds now, between the multiple Renegade packs and Stalker, and with me having to fix Spiked Tail with glue... A lot of the Xenos have been returns too.

Oh, and my Scarface had a badly painted mouth where the pink/red was covering his chin! I was gonna have to send it back only it'll now become 'biomask' since I've ordered another.

The QC has gone out the window recently. It's bad when the KOs look more reliable!

i FINALLY gave in...being that i'm really only buying marvel legends these days...the need to BUY TOYS ..got me.

I picked up several pieces today that mark the beginnings of my step into the aliens/preds lines..
luckily i know i don't feel the need to have them all..just one's that really appeal to me.

Also i just came from FYE and they had the Concrete Jungle Pred...that looks like the one i'd like to own ( i only wanted one good Pred)

You are right about shipping. My fiance ordered me both the gorilla and mantis aliens and with shipping these badboys cane to almost $60 bucks... just crazy

TRU's website has the Bladefighter vehicle in stock right now for $19.99. Just a heads up for anyone interested, I still think it's too big for my display.

Saw that earlier. About once a week they have it pop up on there. I ordered my 5th one today. Yeesh. I hope they stop soon...

I saw them slash the price like a month ago but it sold out very quickly, this is the first time I've seen it in stock at this price.

Here's hoping that in a year the foam Space Jockey will be slashed that deep..

So I watched Alien and Aliens between today and yesterday...(damn those are good flicks)
it has not helped my newfound need to acquire more Alien toys..
and have subsequently picked up more commandos, another accessory pack, Kane, Bishop, Hicks and Xenomorph 2-pack,

these are just as addicting as legends... i need to get the mods to alter the title of this thread. possibly Neca aliens/predator.

The reason i got into the line of figures is because i had all the original predators and aliens from the kenner days. Not to mention been a big fan since the movies came out.

One are gracious mods was able to change the thread title for me. so we can enjoy both aliens and predators in this thread !!

Unless you have a deep love for the design 4 is probably enough of those guys. I say return 'em and spend that money on something new for your collection like the Kenner aliens from series 10!
