Well McFarlane only started doing these figs for a couple of years. Improvements are expected. Look at Hasbro's first BAF wave compared to the more current waves.

Yeah, me too. I never really liked this outfit and have always been surprised that DC settled on it.

Also, that Nightwing doesn’t look good.

Still feels like a wave that will languish, because I'm not sure how many fans of Teen Titans moved onto the adult comic versions and want these.

Mcfarlane, I hope we get a normal Beast Boy in the next wave and Starfire too. The way you left her out of the Titans Wave…is just disrespectful.

Leaks have hinted towards a normal Beast Boy (gold label) release in the future so we should be good there-- but no sign of Starfire yet.

As long as we get a "normal" iteration of Beast Boy then I think this BAF is awesome.

Weird Hulk Beast Boy BAF

So Beat Boy is just X-Men's Beast in the current runs? Not really a fan personally, but I'm sure peoole enjoy this look.
I was kind hoping for a green gorilla once I heard he's be the BAF.

I see him as more of a furry DC Hulk lol

Haha! McFar's DC Multiverse is becoming more like Hasbro's ML line each day. Enjoy your "not the Beastboy I was looking for" figure. At least he's a quick study; can't give fans what they want until the third, or fourth iteration of the character as there's too much money to be made on 'close enough'.

Nice texture on that kevlar (?) uniform, I'm sure the textile will stretch nicely to fit the forms of the elephants and rhinos he likes to shape-shift into.

That’s the main problem I have with McFarlane DC toys. They always make the “not the kind of character I’m looking for” figure. Blue/grey Hush Batman is the only thing they got done right along with a very few others.

The big problem is the version you DO want is a Walmart Gold Label AKA a big fat middle finger you'll never see in a store.

And how long did that take? A buddy of mine says,"If I buy 4 different McFarlane figures I can get the one I want by bashing them."

I like this wave even though im not really familar with the designs .I Know these may not be some peoples first choice look but I dont think they ever been done before and that is factor for the decision in Mcfarlane's choices. At least we were gifted with cool looking Raven and Donna.
Now I'm really curious to what the gold label Beast boy is going to be ?( hopefully it will be target gold .)

Well I’m sold—I was only going to get Donna & Raven, thinking the BAF might be the rumored Trigon, but since it’s another Titans member now I’ll get the whole set!! As folks have been saying it’s a bit weird the direction they went with this Beast Boy… but I don’t hate it. Could’ve been cool if they had included a gorilla head too, kind of like what Marvel did for their Cassie BAF.

Will definitely have to 3d print a gorilla head for this, that's a great idea!
