I wonder why Blade lost his blade from the original movies.

Unless it's a proper Blade from that character's trilogy (it isn't) these are hard passes. Hot Toys does this all the time. We all got a good laugh out of seeing Channing Tatum as Gambit but that doesn't translate into purchasing a $250 collectible.

I also assume some, perhaps all, will be limited numbers.

Do me a favor; Go on Instagram, look up “#HotToys” and see how many insanely rich people somehow have rooms dedicated to collecting every single character (and variant of that character) Hot Toys puts out. There’s definitely a market for these characters, especially when hype is high from the movie grossing over a billion dollars haha

X23 is a must for me. Tatum as Gambit is a definite possibility. I just bought the Sideshow figure. I LOVED Tatum as gambit. Easily one of the best mcu performances since Phase 1.

The sword from Blade wasn't based on the comics. It's a special design that if I remember correctly, even has some patents (involving the spring-out spikes, etc) that New Line own because they created it, not Marvel. Marvel didn't have the rights to the sword. I know this from several of the non-movie related Marvel game appearances of Blade, and him using a regular sword and not the movie sword for that very reason.

I noticed as well. Unless someone has behind the scenes schematics showing the passenger seat went somewhere else it looks like McFarlane was a guest designer on this item.

Yeah, but New Line doesn't have a patent on ALL swords. They could have easily given Wesley a very similar sword and not the jungle explorer machete they used instead.

Because that’s the route Reynolds or Snipes chose to go? Only thing most people cared about was seeing an angry Snipes doing martial arts crap on nameless adversaries. He could be using a spork, rubber chicken, or Qtip and the fans would still holler with glee.

There is a smaller canopy pillar even after transformation.
