Luke Skywalker in Hoth X-Wing gear again? It's not like that one peg warmed forever? That vintage wave is awesome! I will get all but Oddball. |

Sandtroopers.com have posted some shots of two upcoming Battle Packs: Duel on Naboo and Bespin Battle, two sets that caused quite the stir at Toy Fair in February. Both sets are due for a May release.

Check out Yakface.com's in-depth look at the Wal-Mart exclusive Royal Starship Droids set, part of the Discover the Force subline!
The set features the four most accurate renditions of the Astromech droids shown on the Royal Starship in The Phantom Menace and one droid, R2-N3, gets his figure debut with this set. Each droid comes with their own docking stations/power harness, which will add a nice little upgrade to the Naboo Royal Starship from 1999. Enjoy! |
Saw that droid set last wek- very undrwhelming- the same exact sculpt with different colors- no leg jets either.
Really basic paint apps with no weathering. |
Just hoping I can find 2 Magluses, then I'll be happy.

Also, i'm getting the droids. |
They look like new sculpts but with less articulation. This is so weird because it is not hard to find the vintage collection Luke, Vader and Boba . That makes me think this set is not made for collectors.
The 2002 Bespin Luke had 12 points of articulation. The Saga Collection 2007 vintage style Luke had 14 poa. The one in the photo above looks like it has no more than 6 points of articulation. So I am guessing these are all new. |

Check out these awesome shots of the up-coming Multi-Troop Transport (M.T.T) from The Phantom Menace, which will also include an Obi-Wan Kenobi figure.
Odd choice for a pack-in, but whatever I suppose. Thanks to Sandtroopers.com. Look for this set to hit retail in the coming months! |
Huh. No weathering on it at all!
Fresh from the showroom floor to the battlefield, I guess! |

Still a bit of an obscure reference, though. |
Looking at the pics, the droid's feet looked joined together...which would suck.
|
any Yuuzhan Vong someones willing to sell me?
|
Were those ever really at retail? I never saw one.
Some SW figs are so stupid arre right from the start that it makes collecting an aggrivation, having to pay scalper prices for an impossible to find new cool fig while every retail peg is clogged with a tenth re-release of Qui Gon or Super Battledroid. |
I recall a little run-down describing that it came with 3 poseable battle droids and then a bunch of dummy figures.
|
While that's lame as hell, I bet that normal, posable droids would work with it.
You'd maybe have to be more careful with opening and shutting it so nothing gets stuck or squished though -possibly why they made it this was, but still... Thinking on it, most of the Phantom Menace vehicles sucked- the Stap was kinda cool and the Radiant Cruiser rocks...but that's it. |

After reading through this thread I was lured to the dark side and decided to hunt Sw figs today.
Just scored that Sandstorm Leia! Pics will follow when I get home. |
Seeeet. I gotta go looking at Target/Marshalls tomorrow- Daddy nedds an Aqua Droid for amaking a custom AIM killer robot- I think it'll look good in yellow...with added weapons and hoses, naturally.
