That's sexy. Only a matter of time til hasbro does their own. I feel like the wash on yours looks better than anything they'd do though.

evilanimation 09-01-2012 09:18 AM

much better, that looks good.

Any other posts like this will be removed and the offending member infracted.

Odd, been seeing tons of people promoting stuff they have lately. Not sure why you would single me out and others still do it. Heck, I'm just trying to hook people up. I guess you just have to not directly say it in your post then it's okay. Very silly.

Not sure what kind of paint Walmart sells, but I know you can probably buy a matte finish to protect your figure and not give it a shine.

I think that would be a good place to start for a barbarian Thanos. Just the right look on the skin.

usagent27 09-01-2012 10:10 AM

it depends ...if it's like a leather look i use testors gloss...everything else i use dullcoat

yeah thats it,the thing is if one of those customs say falls off the shelf it is more then likely going to chip(one of the reasons I dont like making customs)then you have to paint over the chip and well lets just say it ruins it imo,I would love to know if there is a way to preserve these paint jobs we put so much time into?

btw LM,all the silly shit aside, the details are the hardest thing to get right,ie hairlines and such(at least for me)and I have to say you nailed it with the grey hulk bro, respect where it is due, nice work. \m/

I have to say my dude with every one you do, you get better and better by the way a darker back ground or tone down the lighting would make that hulk photograph better

I agree. Its not like you are spamming it. Heck I think it was the first time I actually saw you saying you are selling something. As long as it isn't spammed to shit, there shouldn't be an issue. It's starting to feel WRONG with hooking people up with figures now adays. Just isn't right..

Yea what U.S Agent said......You closs for boots, gloves, things that should have a gloss to them....And you dullcoat for the rest...That actually make a spray you can use....For joints,I dremel them down a little to avoid paint rub...Then use clear,or matte finish....followed by dullcoat....

thx bro..i need to do that background change

mikefavata 09-01-2012 10:30 AM

After reading all of Planet Hulk, World War Hulk and the majority of the tie in issues (thanks MDCU Subscription)... I think i'm going to move World War Hulk from the villains to my Hero display.

Hulk managed to do that much destruction and didn't kill anyone? That's crazy.

I loved how Amadeus Cho explained that the Hulk purposely doesn't hurt any innocents because he's constantly running all the numbers and all of his actions are calculated.
