Ahhh... I wanna paint that Silver Surfer head white/bluish and put it on my Iceman legends fig.
Also saw Taskmaster at Best Buy... which was weird... first time I ever saw Legends figs at Best Buy, usually they only have 6" Black Series SW figs and those 12" Marvel figs that nobody ever buys. |

I am definitely going to get this for sure! Just kinda wish Ant man was in his classic Uniform.

The real problem with this wave’s Domino is that they could have easily kitbashed a decent 90s version of the character with the Scarlet Witch’s head and Jean Grey’s torso, instead of going to the trouble of partially retooling the Mockingbird mold. Quote:
Cable got the Barrel Break IX-2 and the Vagabond, and Domino has the Diatron: http://myblaster.ru/image/cache/data...01-900x500.jpg http://www.nerfgunattachments.com/wp...5281577953.jpg https://truimg.toysrus.com/product/i...C1212.5:1212.5 |

I went to TRU and was told I could still return everything purchased before March 23rd, so this weekend I'll be bringing my extra Deadpool figures and defective Deathlok back.
Speaking of which, here are my thoughts on the figures I haven't had for the last month: Cable - Pretty awesome, but ends up just shy of being my favorite figure in the wave due to his hair looking like it is a wig or something. I'm not a fan of the gappage at all between the hair and the head. Also, his upper left knee joint is loose and there is no way to keep his collar piece from shaking around. Other than those, this figure is solid and he looks exactly the way Cable should look. X23 - For being an agile character, she doesn't seem to have a lot of range of motion, especially in the body as her ab crunch (as it were) is pretty non-existent. None of the claws were warped on mine though, so that was great. Paint apps are good too and I do like the overall look of the figure. A shame she doesn't have the toe claws though. Gray Deadpool - Easily the worst figure in the wave. So pointless with horrible repainted guns. He should have been the figure to not come with a BAF piece. Sasquatch - Hands down my favorite of the wave. I love the details in his fur and the face sculpt is pretty good. My only nitpick is that the two leg pieces are a different shade of brown than the lower torso is. It's also nice to have a Deathlok that actually has his elbow joint assembled. |

And I am kinda glad I have the 1st Cable now... I like how that head looks with 90's Cable... I like how both heads look actually... it will be nice to have an alternate headsculpt. |

So with the new mutants movie now coming out august of next year (if it does in fact come out at all which I'm beginning to wonder), I'm predicting a New Mutants SDCC set for 2019. Still leaves it open to what THIS year's will be.
Worst case scenario would be a GSXM set because that would be Hasbro giving a giant middle finger to the many fans who are already frothing at the mouth for this. Although it would almost certainly lock it as the best selling SDCC yet. I'm thinking the Days of Future Past two pack may be what it is, given it won't be coming from TRU now. I still also think an Alpha Flight set may be a remote possibility, or a comic Black Order set. I know it's still about four months away but just interested in other opinions. Edit: Also yes I'm salty that the Dark Phoenix movie is shifted to Feb 2019 now, though I understand the official reasoning and it makes sense. This would not be happening though if GOT would have just done their final season this year, Turner would be free for her reshoots (which, I'm thinking will be related to somehow link them to the MCU in some small way) |
