I think the 6" Star Wars figures were in cases of 6 for a brief period. 8 seems to be the number Hasbro currently likes, unless you're exclusive Thanos then it is 6 because Hasbro doesn't want us liking them too much.

Phantomcrow 03-30-2018 07:10 PM

I have seen many "exclusives" for Legends and most of them come in cases of 6. This is most likely because they are a single figure and not an assortment. I have seen fresh cases and Wal Mart Thanos ( along with both Black Panthers, Falcon and Winter Soldiers) have all come in cases of 6. I believe this is also how Walgreens exclusives come IF a store gets a whole case at a time and not just 1 or 2 in their restock totes. I have seen 6 Mr. Fantastic on the shelf when my closest store got him in and am pretty sure I saw the same when Torch showed up. The bad part about Walgreens is that they for the most part get only a couple at a time in their totes. Those big red containers with the folding lids. I have had store people have them on the floor and open them up to just have utter random stuff in the "toy" tote.

See this one's interesting because I had the opportunity to crack open a case of these two myself when they were new and it was a case of 4 (2 of each figure) which threw me as particularly odd.

Last call in infinity war Tasky for trade. If you have a MOC ANAD 2099 spidey and would like to trade hit me up.

If i don't hear anything by this upcoming week from anyone i'll just end up returning him.

I'm debating on getting this 90s Blade headsculpt.

lol..cool concept (and not trying to be negative)
but i don't like that.
we've seen some incredible work by this point so that looks a but subpar to me. it kinds just looks like a flattop (with no texture) just sitting on top of his regular hair. no fade..nada.

*edit* oh..but it's only 9 bucks so ...no biggie.

does anyone remember what brand floor wax were talking about for the figure's joints.
My toy biz hulk i bought a few weeks back (which is really sorta hideous looking) is like one of my fav new figures. but fresh out the package his ankle joints are loose A.F. Need to tighten them bad boys up.

Any Pledge floor wax that has the "Future" or "Future Finish" logo/callout on it.

What would be the opposite? I've got some incredibly stiff joints on an Invincible Iron Man that sound like they're cracking when moved.

Hot water or careful use of a hair-dryer usually do the trick to soften or loosen up stiff joints.

So I ran it under hot running water and it didn't seem to do the trick. Should I have boiled some? Also does this apply to Figuarts with stiff joints or is there another method?

Found 4 figures from the Sasquatch wave (Deadpool, Domino, Paladin, and X-23) at Vintage Stock. I picked up Deadpool and Domino. All that’s left are Cable, Deathlok, and Sasquatch for me.

Boiling is generally more effective, yes.

I picked up the new Ghost Rider at Walmart. I didn't notice until I opened it that it's missing the back left flame piece. This came fresh out of the case, the bubble wasn't tampered with, and all of the rubber bands were still in place. So Hasbro just dropped the ball on that one, or a master thief really just wanted that one flame piece but nothing else from this set. Besides that I like it. I still prefer the darker jacket from the Rhino wave GR but the classic colors are nice and the skull actually being painted this time makes the details more appreciable. I like how the chain looks but after a couple of hours it's already notably sagging so that's not great. Overall I like it, I have the Rhino wave figure on his realistic bike from maisto and now this one with a classic comic-styled bike.

Really hope we get a unique head sculpt of Cyclops wearing his sunglasses some day. The DD/Hawkeye one works good enough for now I suppose.

Just out of curiosity, for those of you who are going about making customs of Johnny Storm in his FF uniform...what are you using for your head? Right now I have the MCU Unmasked Cap, as it's a generic, blonde haired, blue eyed, white male, but that's precisely the problem. It's too generic. It has no personality.

I'm thinking of going with either the Box Set ToyBiz Torch or a DC Direct Sun Boy or Lightning Lad figure head, but I usually shy away from using ToyBiz or DC sculpts with Hasbro Legends because they present their own unique problems when working with them. I'd love to get my hands on the FF Classics series 2 Transforming Torch's head sculpt, but haha...yeah right, not at what that thing goes for. Just wondering what some of you guys out there might be using?
