Between Toy Biz and Hasbro we'll pretty much have it all done, that's true. Granted the Toy Biz all need updates but we're getting there and I'm sure most if not all will get done.

My goals entirely. I've been looking at our figures and figuring out who we still need to round out the Capcom fighter casts.

I did not really need another Mandroid, but for 12$ at Vintage Stock I decided I could not pass it up.

urgh! They looks really great in package. I was going to skip except for Black Knight but every time I look at them they look better and better. I think....maybe it was just seeing the list of names seemed so boring and overdone, uninspired, but they do look great.

Since I want to get the BAF anyways I might be tempted to case order, or at very least just hold off for a while until they are lower than MSRP and get them all.

Jerseysteel 04-06-2018 07:41 AM

That is a movie version of the BAF correct?

I believe it was intended to be, but the clothing is completely different and looks more similar to the comic. Most likely the character's look changed in production and the figure is based on outdated concept art.

Apologies if it was confirmed here and i missed it, but Marvelous News is reporting from the In Hand/packaged/out of packaged pictures found in(or shipped to) Canada that Wolverine in the double packed figure for the Apocalypse wave.

No surprised. I wish and there would have been logic for it to be Madrox but of course Hasbro is going to double pack Wolverine. At least it will make it marginally easier to find.

Yeah, I mentioned that... last page, I think? Marvelous also has some actual in-hand out-of-package photos of the wave, albeit with some weird lighting that makes Poccy look more purple than any other photos have, including the in-hand packaged pics.

But seeing a close up of the unhelmeted Magneto head... it's perfectly 90s cartoon. I love it. And Psylocke looks so good. I hope the energy wrap piece comes off of her katana.

Ah sorry, totally did miss that comment. I have let you down again! :p

Re: Magneto, yeah I am very happy with that spare Magneto head. I hope it fits on the classic body from the Jubilee wave. And I cannot gush enough over all the accessories coming with Psylocke.

hasbroherofan 04-06-2018 10:57 AM

Man, Wasp looks killer.

I suspect it will. The sword appears to be of the same mould as the ones they keep repacking with Deadpool, and the odd lighting in the in-hand photos definitely gives the impression that the “wrap” is a separate and different type of plastic.

I hope Black Knight is the double packed figure. 3 different head sculpts?

It's going to be like last year when the Man Thing, Gladiator Hulk, A-Force and SDCC sets all arrived within 10 days of each other. My SO is patient but even so, that much got me a look. :o

Augustus_Cole 04-06-2018 03:35 PM

finally found Cable and Lucas Bishop (when he was younger in an alt reality)

that completes all the releases for this year so far except for Thanos..which i don't want. and Silver Surfer which isn't "really" out there yet.

So going through my ML and I still say the Toybiz Spiderman from the first Tobey McGuire movie is the best. I really wish I had a comic version of this mold. He just does things that the Hasbro ones can't and still looks good with the modern sculpting of today.

I have tons of SPidey's...I think I must have 30-40 Tobey figures. You should try to paint them bright blues and bright reds and see how it turns out.

I have done it with a few...which I cannot find as they are on a different continents probably, but year...you want that comic version go for it. If you dislike the Tobey mask, there are tons of Spidey Classics with heads that may look really nice. I personally love the DUal Web Swinging Spiderman head.

Because to the sculpts of those Tobey figures, the blue paint adheres really well to the plastic if I remember correctly.

A couple acquisitions this week!

http://i68.tinypic.com/vf4ba.jpg

Picked up these guys as payment for helping out at the local toy store

Jewel was bought off my man DTL, and Natasha was a surprise from my wife.

Great week!
