I saw a couple of those at Target yesterday. They look alright I guess.

WTF is this 5 POA shit? Who spends this kind of money on 5 POA any more? Seriously?

"No way Hasbro would bring back Vonner molds." I was right, and they literally retrograde back to Kenner/Mattel 3.75/4 inch stuff. I get the appeal of these types of figures for Nostsalgia, but someone at Hasbro should point out that this type of Super7 stuff doesn't work when you are the 1# company that could afford both better engineering AND the expenses to hold the license. When classic MU Iron Man, Black Panther, and Captain America are all already a thing and relatively cheap to get online, the only appeal here is packaging. I should've saw this coming from how popular this 3rd party type stuff is, I just didn't think Hasbro would do that to it's Marvel brand. |

FWIW, my take on these are yes, they are 5 POA POS. However, if they sell in decent numbers then it sends a message to Hasblow that there is still a market for 3.75"MU figures.

Awesome additions, Mordiganne! Fine workmanship. The photography of Cap, Logan, & Widow is incredible and iconic to an equally awesome issue. https://imgc.allpostersimages.com/im...pg?w=632&h=948 |

I agree. The "Retro" theme is no surprise. Hasbro is jumping on the band wagon as are other companies. Retro is in and it sells. They've been doing it with Star Wars. At least Hasbro brought it to the 3.75 inch scale rather than keep everything Marvel in the 6 inch Legends. Articulation reduction was already happening with MU's Infinite series. These new offerings are more cost effective as each figure is less than $12 USD (which is what the Infinite were priced before the line disappeared). I do hope the line succeeds to make more waves. I am curious to see which characters would drop next. https://24.media.tumblr.com/560a014c...wio8o1_500.gif |
