Any of my fellow Texans been to one of these JMV toy shows? I was thinking of going to the one in San Antonio in a few weeks, but didn't know if they were cool or had decent prices.

Edit: to be on topic, how are their MU figure prices.

WoRkAh0LiC 09-03-2012 11:23 AM

Aw man... I forgot to say it last night:

Happy Belated Birthday, Scarlett!

Your Dad got you so much stuff! That's awesome. It took him a lot of time to gather all of that up, so you know he really does care about you. Never forget that your father loves you. When you're a teenager, you'll start to wonder about that. Just know that he always has your best interests at heart.

There's one coming up in HTX later this month. I havn't been able to yet and have wondered myself.

This is a Lord Marvel question. I think he's been.

Begin the Multi-Quote (Why does this remind me of Milla Jovovich in Fifth Element when she says Multi-Pass?)

Out of sheer admiration, I refuse to snip all those pictures out of the quote. That looks so bad a$$! I'm jealous - just like I'm jealous of a 8 year old's toy haul for her birthday. lol

The team shot looks great. You should get a shot of the whole team pounding on someone.

Duuuuuuude. You're a senior. Seniors rule the school! Think of all the parties that you'll be going to... Not to mention the Girls, sleeping in class, planning the senior prank, senior trips, etc etc etc. You're gonna have a blast!

Diggin the positive attitude there, ben. What's not to like about getting paid extra for working on a slow day? Are you able to surf the forum while at work? Out of curiosity, what is it that you do?

Depends

If you are going to be in the area, then it may be worth checking out.

If you are JUST going to attend the show, it's a crapshoot as he usually cancels less than 24 hours before the show.

How do you cancel an event 24 hours before a show? Also, aside from that possibility, how is the event overall? Good selection? Good prices?

Guy that runs it has a very bad habit of cancelling and not telling anyone. He will say it was because there was another event that trumped it, low dealer turnout etc.

I've not been to a show yet because anytime he's had it in Houston and I was going to go he cancelled.

Jimmyo 09-03-2012 01:06 PM

Guys thanks again for all the birthday wishes for Scarlett today, she has gone to bed exhausted about half an hour ago (8.30pm)

She had a fantastic day, Every year I forget how crazy kids parties can get lol atleast the weather in London was wonderful today so we could spend sometime outside

Tomorrow we are out trying to pick up some stands and a new storage solution for her bits as they have outgrown their present home.

No idea. Bought a Kang off a eBay seller in Boca, he told me that's where he got it.

Which was awesome by the way. When you buy on eBay from someone 40 miles away and it's delivered the next day.

Do people actually have DPs to spare? Seriously, they need to make a single-pack 'Pool. The only ones that were singles were in X-Men Origins, and it's tough to find them for a decent customizer's price.

mikefavata 09-03-2012 01:44 PM

Did War Machine's Dark Reign armor have a specific name?

I've been to a JMV show here in RR. It wasn't worth the $5 for the five minutes of looking at comics. There were only around 4-5 dealers.

I would recommend Eckman's show in San Antonio. If you haven't been then that's the show to attend. I've gotten some good deals on MU and other figs.

Because Texas is ginormous.

Snad 09-03-2012 02:11 PM

Sooo... which Nightcrawler is best? The X-Men pack or the comic pack with Storm? And does anyone have both, maybe some side by side action?

Yeah, I didn't really think of that.

The box set Nightcrawler is the way to go , besides if you go with the variant set you'll get a bamfing nightcrawler.

ChuckSass 09-03-2012 02:21 PM

FancyPants 09-03-2012 02:34 PM
