Dan Yun / Hasbro Marketing asks "What do you think of Retro 3.75?"

If ya want more sculpt, articulation, or a Deluxe Retro / MU comeback,

Go! Go!! Go!!!

SO glad to see the response is overwhelmingly on the side of - these are crap, give us a quality 3.75 line.

Starting to look like we demand a new quality line and that's that.

Il Cattivo 10-22-2020 01:50 PM

Glad to see collectors doing our part to voice our concerns. Keep up the good work! Keep an eye on tweets by Dan Yun / Steve Evans.

Demand is there. Quality is what we respectfully / definitely gotta keep pressing for. Anyone on Hisstank? We got only 1,600 pages vs. their 10,000 pages of Marvel 3.75 Appreciation. Their demand is greater than ours. Y'all invite them over here - so we can further our shared concerns - further our growing demand...

I see where they were going with trying to cash in on the sudden "retro" appeal that pop-culture is experiencing, but as a return to 3 3/4" scale they're very underwhelming. As a child of the 80s the 5POA articulation was quickly replaced by the Joe figures of the 80s for me. I barely had any Star Wars figures because they couldn't move. But I digress...Anecdotal experiences aside, for those that like these, enjoy. I'm not wasting a cent on them. No usable parts.

Hm...wish I saw this painted sample before I ordered. I like how this looks when not in greyscale. I'll get one next time.

Mordiganne 10-23-2020 12:13 PM

Looking for two (2) shoulder harnesses from the Commander Rogers figure. Just need the harnesses but I'll buy the whole fig if necessary.

Still after the intake covers. Working a vehicle as a side project. It's coming along great, just some minor details & accessories to go.

Mordiganne 10-23-2020 12:15 PM

Anyone know JackieBoy personally? I've got a Tombstone figure here that I made and I'm tired of it taking up space. If he doesn't claim it by next Friday I'm offering it to the board for...something. Haven't decided how I want to do this yet.

It's not this exact one, but gives an idea:

We knew they were "legit" when Hasbro put them on their website.

hasbroherofan 10-23-2020 06:24 PM

If those are the 5-POA figs, I've been seeing them at my local Family Dollar and Walgreens for a while.
