Unless you consider turning living snakes into poison tipped javelins a skill.

That really depends on how narrowly you define “meta-human.”

I’d argue that exceeding the normal limits of the human mind and body is actually a core element of Cobra’s philosophy, considering how often it’s come up over the last three decades. Cobra’s R&D has consistently demonstrated the ability to create enhanced humans of one kind of another, whether cyborgs with enhanced strength and reflexes (Star Vipers, Overkill), fearless, single-minded combat drones (Zombie Vipers) or human-animal chimaeras ranging from the monstrous, well, “Mega Monsters” as pictured above to the “Electric Eels,” who are basically what would happen if you put Shocker through Navy SEAL training. They’ve also apparently mastered the process of cloning and have access to an effective method of mind-imprint transference, which would theoretically allow any given Cobra operative to effectively be immortal given sufficient reason to keep cloning him or her in the event of death.

I forgot about those creatures...lol. More good stuff. I also forgot to take into the account that many Cobra troops probably have some sort of genetic tampering, which was something that was hinted at with the Viper units in the first GI Joe movie that everyone despised (which I did not if anyone is wondering... it was far more a love letter to the GI Joe franchise than people give it credit for.)

I remember one of the file cards for the SAW Vipers saying something along the lines of that they were able to pick off an insect in heavy brush from over 200 yards away during nightfall. That is an army of Bullseyes in itself. If that is not meta-human, then I don't know what is. As a kid it made me wonder how the Joes were even a match.

Man, after all of this time it finally arrived and what a fucking disappointment it is.

https://i.imgur.com/lwmcf90.jpg

Poor quality control galore.

Noir - Huge head and his right arm has beed dislocated, so it is pointing at an 80 degree angle when you put his arm straight.

Punk - Loose legs.

Mysterio - White skull, loose arms, loose boot rotation, loose ankle rockers.

Prowler - His cape sits too high up, nearly covering his eyes. Also, his fingers are bent in different directions and his leg things are frozen halway up the boots.

Gwen - Loose joints and poor paint apps.

Spider-Woman - Bad paint and loose wrist hinges.

Lizard - The tail sucks, the head sucks, there is a gap between his neck and chest.

Yep, Strato-Vipers are genetically altered to be more resistant to G-forces and thin oxygen, Hydro-Vipers are genetically altered to operate comfortably in deep-sea environments for long periods of time (they’re not affected by “the bends”), and so on and so forth, and that’s without even getting into the straight-up crazy like the regenerative, shape-shifting Bio-Vipers...

If it was a love letter, it was the sort that John Kricfalusi would have written to Robin Byrd.

I think picking off flies at 200 yards is less “Marvel’s Bullseye” than your standard “good ol’ Kentucky country boy” of American folklore, but there was at least one issue of the comics that suggested the enhanced abilities of certain Cobra operatives could also potentially bite them on the ass, as they tend to become overconfident in their abilities and either neglect to practice good military fieldcraft/discipline or else push themselves or their equipment beyond the breaking point.

On the other hand, it’s heavily implied that, for one example, Cobra Blackstar combat astronauts are an entirely unknown humanoid alien species whom Cobra Commander is employing as mercenaries...

Did the original Marvel legends Doc Ock have bendable Ock arms?

X-23 only took on the mantle of Wolverine in the last couple of years, so it's the more recent.

Thank You that helps Tremendously.

So I fixed the arm of Noir and I got Prowler's cape in a better position, but it is still far from perfect. I might have to put some rubber bands on it or something for a few weeks to mold it into a proper position.

There's nothing I can do about the loose joints though.

DarthKamen 04-13-2018 09:59 PM

Where did you get that wonderful fedora!? Is that from a figuart Skull?

If I could get a fedora for him, I would totally buy Noir.

It came from the Gotham Bullock figure. Same goes for the revoler in the last pic. I kind of wish I had bought a second one now when Trade Smart had him for $10 so I could get a second revolver.

Not true! Just a drop or two of any basic Pledge floor polish with Future finish will tighten nearly any joint once it sets!

lordbest 04-14-2018 01:17 AM

I use superglue because I usually have it handy. Scary the first time you try it, but effective

He does, yes. Articulated claws on the ends too.

I bought mine at retail when he was released and, other than some quite loose claw joints, he's held up well. The tentacles still hold their pose well. I sincerely doubt the new one will take his place as my superior Octopus.

HEADS UP to UK collectors. ML Ant-Man /Stinger on ebay uk, for 20 quid, free postage. Sounds too good to be true, but I ordered one anyway as I can get money back if it is a scam.

That would only work on the joints I can remove though like the boots and ankle rockers. I can't fix joints that can't be removed like the shoulders, neck discs, and thigh swivels.

For those joints you can use thin pins or something to work the stuff in there then wiggle the joints to work the stuff in. At least thats how ive done it.

lordbest 04-14-2018 08:45 AM

What Nitelife said. Use a runny superglue, not gel, work it in the gaps then wipe up any excess from the surface.

I tried that on my Black Widow neck, but it's been peeling off every time I move her head.

Zorglorfian 04-14-2018 11:45 AM

Anyone know if the Thanos BAF hands fit on the new select?

Try using the polish instead of superglue via the same process. Should help a lot.
