it has 13 books and i believe and at least 2 other annual like books

spade 05-24-2013 03:36 PM

I saw on one site, someone took the leg pads/armor off a jango fett to make his wrist shockers/gauntlets.

I see. I didn't even know him until I saw him on the old TV series when my kids were watching that on Netflix. My god is JJJ a prick in that show!

I appreciate it, I'm going to look for those! Something to do while we're waiting for the next wave!

Clean up, aisle 7.

Go about your stuff guys. Just leaving a note that some stuff was removed for obvious reasons.

Thanks to those who shot me a heads up.

Yeah, I was going to ask where you got the groovy Ma'kran crystal. I think I need one of those also.

salsa4datass 05-24-2013 06:21 PM

nice pics fellas!
I just read that angel, nova and puck are back up. but an hour later they are out of stock. my question is this, why don't they just do a order now and when they come back in stock you will be billed type of thing? reason I ask is because I just ordered puck and it states it won't even ship until 06/17 which means it honestly is out of stock until that shipment correct?...

yeah. it seriously confused me because I've never seen that before on their site. kind of like "do you still want it?" before you pay...

They are like $3-$4 at Micheal's. They have this one and some bigger ones at well in pink.

uberlad 05-24-2013 08:36 PM

Sometimes HTS will ship stuff before the posted date. I actually got the first wave of MU figures from HTS before the street date back in the day.

And to chime in on the discussion this afternoon--While I haven't read Deadpool Corps, I think it makes a good exclusive. I'll still try to track it down, but if I miss it, I won't be devastated. Exclusives should be more fan-service figures like these. I could list a number of characters I'd sooner see, but it's a fun set, and I'm sure a ton of folks will be really happy with it. If they made a character like Kingpin an exclusive and I missed him, I would be really upset.

When I missed both Sgt. Slaughters in the Joe line, that crushed a lot of my spirit and enthusiasm for Joes, because he was such a pivotal character for me. He also seemed popular enough that he could have fared quite well at retail, what with Joe and wrestling fans likely willing to pick him up.

That would actually be an interesting break down. I assume Legends has more but MU has at least a few figures/costumes that ML doesn't.

Any news on Moon knight and ant-man comic pack ?

bmorr 05-25-2013 07:04 AM

Heres my MU appreciation for today. Me and my dad worked on building this riser yesterday(a rainy day project). Took two of us around two hours to build this thing. I really liked what people have done with their own displays with the addition of risers. The best part though: My dad asks me if we should go build another one. What a trooper.

Warning about the smalljoes risers... as far as acrylic risers go, they're very fragile, and they pack them terribly for shipping: no padding, bubble wrap, or anything to protect it. They stuff it in a box that just barely fits the stand. The company itself was very helpful and sent me a new one right away when I sent pics of mine with a shattered rear leg, but the replacement also showed up cracked because of their packing technique.

I'd recommend just going with an acrylic shelf organizer like these:
Amazon.com: InterDesign Linus 3 Tier Organizer, Clear: Home & Kitchen

I use these for my Legends display, but they should be fine for MU figures as well.

Here's a pic of my smalljoes stands, and an older pic of the interdesigns organizer:

Well I decided to go up Abbington PA Target and found 1 Angel. They had several Hercules and Nighthawks. Then I went to Warrington and found Puck. Plenty of Hercs and Nighthawks. I decided to swing by my Target in Cheltenham and the same 3 Gladiators and nothing else on the pegs.

So I only need a Nova.
