It won't be long until they're in the states! I can't wait to be among the half of us that are unable to find them while the other half of us have them falling of the pegs. :p

Archangel 04-19-2018 12:56 PM

Anyone have a Spidey 2099 from the Hobgoblin wave cape they would be willing to sell or trade?

Funny you mention that. I also had a problem finding the walgreens punisher. When i did run across him once or twice, his paint looked crappy.

Yeah same thing here. The couple I managed to actually find at a Walgreens had some pretty sloppy white paint apps. I got very lucky and found one then at a flea market with good paint apps and thankfully this seller is set up as a regular store so they weren't scalping and I got it for $20 flat.

Now that I think about it, I did not see of a ton of Punisher figures either. The one I bought and maybe a handful of other times. Any other figure, given enough time (about 3 months after they first start showing to about a year out) has been plentiful.

That SDCC set is awesome. it was the first set I got (granted like two years later at about $200.) Haven't looked back since, though I keep telling myself I need to. Fortunately I've not had to pay that much since except for the Raft set and that was due to me traveling on the day the set went up on HTS. Still, I think the Thunderbolts set despite being what...5 years old...holds up really well.

And I know one of our tribe will be salivating over that Satana figure.

Distribution is weird.

he certainly IS...hahaha

but man..this set i've wanted for awhile. I came across a decent deal (better than anything on ebay) and just pulled the ole trigger-o.
i think the set is amazing.
and i've only been collecting for 2 SDCC sets to release. the raft and the Asgardian set. anything else i've had to dip back into the past to pick up.

Careful with Moonstone’s upper legs. I bought one that immediately cracked at the hip when I moved her leg. The plastic is a bit on the fragile side.

At least going off proportions the new Magneto is a def step up from his predecessor.

I wonder how those boots, head, cape and forearms would look swapped onto a Red Guardian body and painted purple...

Kirathis 04-19-2018 08:19 PM

Just wanted to put out there again that if anyone finds the Hydra sets, I am interested in at least 2 of them.

So anyways..

Archangel 04-19-2018 08:33 PM

Sneaky shit right there.

Trivial Psychic 04-19-2018 08:39 PM

Good pickups DTL. I picked up the entire Wrecking Crew in a lot about two years ago, and I loved every one of them.

Haha...I know that trick. Having worked at TRU at one time, I could tell you stories about some of the lengths people went...

Also....

"A group of toy collectors called the syndicate?" We have cells of shadow ops collectors now?

Christ...get over yourselves and get a life people...

Oh, that Magneto looks amazing. I can't wait for Hasbro to repaint him with classic colors.

Pravus Prime 04-19-2018 10:23 PM

If that Magneto was the black costume with the white stripes, I'd have been all over it. I really dug that look.

En Sabah Nerd 04-20-2018 12:57 AM

I would have liked for the new Magneto to be more classic in design and have included an alternate AoA head. What we're getting looks good but I'm leaning towards passing because of the design they went with.

She is actually the only figure i already had and didn't have any issue with, but ..NOTED. Bought her once at a great price and didn't even know who she was, just looked good. My plan was to sell this new one. Checked ebay yesterday and she's going for 100.00 easy so yahoo... recoup some of my money on the purchase.
I'm also going to sell one of my Luke Cages. have to see which i like better, the SDCC or the Defenders version. Anyone have any preferences and why??
