Good toy day today. Found Domino at my local Walgreens and Cable & X-23 arrived from Dorkside. Passed on the X-Force Deadpool.

So far, no problems with the leather. Yeah, the leather on my TB Blade has deteriorated pretty badly, which is why I'm glad I now have the Noir body for a new Blade figure.

The great thing about this Red Skull is that it still has a great cloth costume under it, so even if/when the coat deteriorates (which, admittedly, you don't want to happen on an $80 action figure) the figure still looks really damn good. I don't know if any toy company can top this Red Skull, if you're looking for a more modern look.



Yup! That's why I bought the Winter Soldier wave HYDRA body, and the result wasn't half bad, so I'd definitely recommend that for your Classic Red Skull fix, DTL. I might even recommend adding a chest harness from another figure just so he doesn't look so plain. Although, I can totally see Hasbro reusing the Ghost Rider/Noir/Star Lord buck and giving it the classic Hydra colors for a classic Red Skull. You can get so much use out of that body that I'm surprised Hasbro doesn't use it more.

Picked these two up at Walmart today. Just need need Paladin and Deathlok to complete Sasquatch.

Got a $15 purple cape off ebay for my Mysterio. I'm not normally a softgoods fan but I just really don't like that cape they keep using now and I try to replace it anytime I can. I might order another on of these for Prowler!

Whoa! My boy Shatterstar shows up in the new Deadpool 2 trailer! I was somewhat shocked when his new Legends figure became a pegwarmer of that 2nd X-men wave, but maybe now he will get some respect... even though he doesn't really look as cool in the movie. LOL.

Back when we were showing off Hydra troops, DTL pointed out that I was missing Madame Hydra, and since I was never a fan of that original figure, I went ahead and created one of my own. Took some liberties with the costume, but I'm pretty happy with how she came out and she'll make a good stand-in until Hasbro gets around to (if ever) giving her another shot.

I mean, at least he's wearing a white costume with the shoulderpad and the mask thing. If it were the main series of X-Men movies, he'd either be wearing black leather or generic grey armor, with maybe the star tattoo over his eye.

So was this Bob, whom I'm not familiar with in comics. The guy who was in the Deadpool movie as one the goons that he used to spell out Francis' name

and while i'm on the subject. it seems like they toned down how harsh Wade's face looks in Deadpool 2. Seems it should be hideous. But its far from it.

Yah technically. Since dp 1 was made pre fox buyout they couldnt show bob as a hydra goon so he was just a poor random merc wade knocked out and used to spell francis. Hopefully he shows up in dp 2.

Sister flew into town yesterday, brought with her a minty fresh Songbird she found in Idaho. On top of that, we popped into Target last night, and nabbed a lone Domino. Good Legends day!
