That just goes further to prove the idiocy of TRU's distribution. From what the guy last weekend told me TRU has been packing up cases upon cases of an identical figure and shipping them out to stores.

Wish they'd do that with those hydra packs.

That happened with final wave of the GI Joe Retaliation wave 3.5(that had all the good figures in that wave)finally started hitting TRU stores. Some stores received cases of single characters and that's how cases were sent by Hasbro to TRU.

Probably because tha tSilver Surfer looks like shit.

Probably. I used to have that Surfer, and while it was okay for the time, compared to the newer Legends, that figure is a hot mess. Goofy proportions, less articulation, freakishly tiny head, and a vac-metal board that's prone to chipping and turning green over time.

I dumped mine about 2 years ago. Haven't missed it one bit.

Since we're getting Black Knight, I wonder if we'll see another British hero soon in Union Jack? I was looking through some of my Marvel Universe figures recently when I noticed him, and was suddenly reminded of his Legends figure all the way back with the Red Hulk wave. He's gotta be due for a remake soon. I know nothing about the character other than he has an awesome look, and as I was looking at my X-Force Deadpool tonight, I was reminded again of the character due to the gear that figure is wearing. It's literally an easy deco away right there for a cool modern update. Plus, we could always use new figures to fill out our Invaders ranks.

They could probably use the popular Noir/AIM/Ghost Rider body as well for his more modern look. Would be a good repurpose for that buck.

Apparently it was the TRU in Newark, Delaware. My friend was traveling for work so it wasn’t his home TRU.

Honestly, I think the new Silver Surfer looks fantastic (semi-pun not intended). You would think Hasbro would use some regular ol' dingy silver plastic/paint on that guy, but good on them for realizing that a guy that's literally all silver should probably have a silver coating that makes him stand out from other figures with silver bits.

I have that surfer and like him and probably would be perfectly happy with him if Hasbro never made a new one, but the updated articulation goes a long way. Hell I love a lot of my Toybiz figures, but more often than not the new figure will win out.
